Canucks schedule is incredibly easy though. 11 of their 25 remaining games against bottom 10 teams, including a bunch against CHI, ANA and ARI. And I just find it hard to believe a team with their top end talent will sink to the level of those 4.
We’ll see, they’ve been terrible all season, and even worse than before since the coaching change. The team is definitely skilled offensively, but make up for it with atrocious defence. I think it’s very possible they end up bottom 4.

Biggest impediment would be if the Hawks trade Kane and the Sharks trade Karlsson, those teams could pull some pretty great tank jobs without Kane/Karlsson.

Vancouver has no business being this bad.

The Ducks defense is worse then them and their offense is not even close to as skilled as Vancouver.

No way they should only be 8 points apart.

He had a fine first period. One cut to the inside off the wall on the powerplay that almost led to a goal but he shot it wide. He has a lot of simplicity to his game in transition that I enjoy. He recognizes his teammates well and can drop pucks on their sticks, take the man he was being pressured by and tie him up so his teammate can enter the zone. He chips and dumps when needed to, doesn't overcomplicate (mostly) and lose the puck. Think his acceleration could improve, but he also definitely has a good stride and frame that if he puts on muscle it should improve.

I wonder if he is already good enough for Tre Kronor (Team Sweden men). Possible player for the upcoming WCH in may?

How does everyone feel about this kids skating? For me it’s what separates him and Fantilli.

He's embarrassed over it, been late a couple of times(but not excessively so), knows that it's not okay and getting scratched sounds like it's a kick in the butt for him to not arrive late.

Anyways, will play tomorrow.

Well there's 2 ways he can approach it

He can take full responsibility and make a commitment that it will never happen again, which would have minimal impact on his draft spot

But if he is evasive and makes excuses, downplaying what happened I could see a couple teams dropping him in the rankings.

After all, it is a mistake that most people will make at least once in their life, but how you respond means a great deal to your employer.

He's not being evasive about it.

This kid might have one of the highest ceilings I can recall from a swedish forward prospect. He has the potential to be the best Swedish forward since Forsberg.

a bump

Is he really a top 3 pick in this draft?

This thread was created late 2021, less than 18 months ago
just 13 pages in that span., hasn't been a post in about a month.
- not much talk around here

Finished the regular season with 25 points in 45 games, is that good in the SHL?
He is signed through 2025. - will play in the SHL until 2025?, any reasons why he wouldn't?.

He is listed at 6 foot 3, around 200 lbs, center / winger
after reading all the posts, he has mostly played as a winger,
but few posters suggest he will be a center in the NHL?
- because of his size?

Late 2004 born, but December born is always a big +, so there's that
but does the fact that he is not 2005 born effect his draft position?.

What are his games downsides; the stuff he needs to work on?
