Question for the fan club, who will be in Buffalo first? Kulich or Rosen?:sarcasm:
they should be brought together, they have great chemistry, but as a czech countryman i pray for Kulich getting traded. CZ needs top 6 players in NHL badly, unfortunately i can´t see him in Buffalo in that spot. I would love to see him in Arizona playing with Cooley, plenty of opportunities for him, but i don´t see Sabres trading him for anyone.

No reason Kulich can't be in a top 6 spot in Buffalo

Lets be real, if he somehow ends up in top6 spot it is not going to be anytime soon, unless GM makes some big moves, or he brutally outplays some guys when called up. There is slim chance he will take Olofsson spot, but i wouldn´t hold my breath. It sucks that he had bad training camp, expected to outplay others heavily, but like in last year he started slow, sucks for him..

With his stats and play model this could be a significantly earlier.
It is annoying that when such a good young Czech player appears, he happens to be in Buffalo, which right now has an incredible base of talented players.

Sabres gave Kulich every opportunity to be the one to take Quinn’s roster spot this year and he shit himself. Not like they’re burying him.

He was not good. So the Sabres knowing he has to work on his game in both ends anyways, sent him back.

I think shit himself is a little hard. He obviously didn't earn a spot

I'm hoping so..that means he forces his way into top 6 which would be good for team

He didn’t stand out and was mostly quiet in the preseason, but he did not shit himself or look terrible.

Good goaltending, defense, passing ability etc. If the only thing a player does is score goals he better be able to score a lot.
Last I checked, the team with more goals scored over the other wins. Defense and goaltending certainly mitigates goals and can help with maintaining, stabilizing or increasing the score, but at the end of the day the score with more goals wins.

Kulich seems to be doing that a lot at the AHL level as a U20 player. I think there’s a good chance that translates to the NHL level.

I don’t know how much longer I’m supposed to care that Kulich didn’t earn a spot in the NHL with his big opportunity of playing on the 7th offensive line with guys who will never make the league. He didn’t get the same chances that Benson or even Biro did. Darn him for not scoring his way out of his opportunity!

anyway…

let’s see how his start with Rochester is this year…

*checks*

Lot of wasted breath in this thread.

Sabres play the top 9 pretty close at even strength anyway no big deal playing on the 3rd line.

Did Buffalo seriously just called up someone called Brandon Biro over Kulich??? Just wtf lol

Dude even playing first line tonight ... oh well
Hey, take it easy. For one thing, he is young and the AHL certainly won't hurt him. Then at least he will be available for the junior championship, and that's what we all want, right? After the championship, they can easily call him up in case of injury.
