Ducks made a huge mistake passing on him and Snuggerud for a 4th liner in Gaucher.
Yes, they did. Snuggerud with Zegras or McTavish would be a very promising pair.Ducks made a huge mistake passing on him and Snuggerud for a 4th liner in Gaucher.
yeah he's pretty good not sure if he will see anytime in NHL any time soon since the Sabres depth is pretty good and bringing him up just to have 4th line minutes wouldn't be very smart.TheAHL.com | The American Hockey League

Look at last 5 games.

Kulich is exceeding expectations. What an interesting player. Can't believe he was at center the last time I saw him, how many games has it been?
I don't disagree. My point was that I was fully expecting the Ducks would take either Snuggerud or Kulich at 22. They took Gaucher instead which will prove to be a huge mistake. Gaucher has Derek Grant 4th line written all over him.Snuggerud is fine in his own right, not seeing a huge mistake there. He's legit.

Someone else here suggested he play another year in Rochester. I'd agree with that. Give him as much AHL seasoning as you can. Peterka & Quinn have been more quiet than productive so far. Not sure what to make out of that. And I don't think 4th line minutes are helping Peyton Krebs either.yeah he's pretty good not sure if he will see anytime in NHL any time soon since the Sabres depth is pretty good and bringing him up just to have 4th line minutes wouldn't be very smart.
Two more goals and an assist last night
This is the problem with too many top notch forward prospects and only 1 NHL team, some aren't going to make it for said team or have their roles as bottom 6 guys instead of top 6.Someone else here suggested he play another year in Rochester. agreed...I knew they screwed up second they took Gaucher...Ducks made a huge mistake passing on him and Snuggerud for a 4th liner in Gaucher.
They going to playoffs? Or will I see Jiri at the Skoda? Note: I prefer Skoda!
This kind of production... yeah, no offfence, but I hope he goes to Europe in April.. does the 1 month training camp when we play Germany, Austria etc. and then, hopefully, makes the roster and goes to Skoda as a sneaky 3rd liner. It's going to be a struggle. They have a tough division and their centers are not up to snuff. And their team defense is basically prayer that Subban or Houser can bail them out.

For sure.. far from a finished product. I think keeping him in the A was a great move. Hope he gets a 'cup of coffee' so he can see how fast the game is (and a small raise for a few games). Rousek better get a call soon.lol I think he's Tyler Benson for the Sabres. At the moment, it's him and fellow rookie Rosen and 2nd year Rousek who were carrying the offense for the last three weeks or so until last night when a bunch of people scored to end goalless droughts. Kulich's been worked in at center some in this stretch and some nights are better than others. The offense is there, certainly. The defense is getting better but he's still 18 and has a lot to learn on that side of the puck.

Willy turned out okay....Kulich has 15 points (8+7) in his last 13 games and eight multi-point games in his first season in AHL as 18-year-old. He is now tied with William Nylander as 18yo in ahl
Pens too. I wanted KulichI don't disagree. My point was that I was fully expecting the Ducks would take either Snuggerud or Kulich at 22. They took Gaucher instead which will prove to be a huge mistake. Gaucher has Derek Grant 4th line written all over him.
