Someone please do an eichel all shifts of this game.. I don't have time in my day to watch a whole game unless it's my team

Eichel just made Karlsson look slow. Wow.

Impressive, but Karlsson wasn't exactly skating at his fastest. He played a pretty conserved game -- it's possible he's still getting into shape conditioning-wise as he adjusts to his new weight.

But yeah, Eichel looked great, especially in the third.

I did two of his three televized preseason games as they weren't televized in the Buffalo market. I wouldn't mind spending the time to do this considering it's his first ever game, but I just don't have the time right now as I'm moving Tuesday. I'd be willing to after that but people probably won't care by then.

You might just want to watch the 3rd period. The game was completely different in the 3rd, especially after Eichel's goal. He started playing much more like a superstar. The goal really got him and the whole team going, though some air was taken out when Kane's goal shortly after was overturned after a lengthy coach's challenge.

After Eichel scored he stopped giving too much respect to the opposition and realized he's already better than 99% of the players in the NHL and started to create something every shift.

Love the atmosphere in Buffalo. I am so happy for that city and team.

Same with Isles in my books.

Here's the clip of Eichel going around Karlsson. Nearly got an assist out of it.

That was nice but i've seen Karlsson get walked multiple times while skating backwards. JVR last year made walked around him twice in one game and made him look like he was was wearing cement skates.

I'm going to have to catch more Sabres games this year. This kid is unreal.

Yeah, it was still impressive, but less impressive upon watching it the second time than I thought it was when I saw it live. It's still pretty crazy to see an 18 year old do that in his first NHL game, though. His confidence really seemed to pick up after he scored.

I was more interested watching Eichel than the debacle known as Bruins. This kid looked so comfortable on the ice tonight. Did not look like a rookie.

It's so great that the Sabres finally got their potential franchise player. I always liked Eichel more than McDavid. Great to see!
