9 points in 5 games to start the season. looks like he's been playing a big role on the PK as well to.

Should be able to push for a World Junior spot

Your account is named after Cole Caufield and you’re concerned about cowan’s size? The math isn’t mathing
Im a Habs fan, and this is a petty post. Guys playing outrageous hockey right now, and deserves his hype. Kid loves hockey, grinds so damn hard, and is being rewarded with unreal production in the O. Us habs fans were saying this about Gally back in the day. IMO the guys gonna be a banger, and hes gonna be so fun to watch, and hes gonna be a great player in the organization. Whether he puts the big points up or not, I dont know, still early. You guys (Leafs fans) picked a nice one.

I’m not a Leafs fan i just don’t understand the logic. Caufield is a phenomenal player at 5’7 and this guy clearly loves him, but somehow he thinks Cowan’s size is an issue?

I mean I can go with the obvious arguments of Caufield putting up stupid record numbers in draft year and was supposed to go earlier. Cowan supposed to go later (on pro boards, I like where he went), but is way different.
Different players Cowans game is gonna count on how hard he plays, and being able to translate that part of his game into the size of the NHL. Harder for a crash and bang/heart guy, than a guy that just scores at will. But I think Cowan has that in him, and I think he'll be valuable in the NHL easy. As much as I dont like the leafs, I think the Cowan pick was fantastic

Cole is built like Marty St. Louis. There's a difference,,

weve seen hot starts before in the OHL

not a fan of players of his size but we'll see how it goes I guess
According to NHL.com:

Caufield - 5′8″ and 175 pounds
Cowan - 5'11" and 185 pounds

'Not a fan of players of his size'. Got it.

Caufield is built like a truck for his size and has a goal scoring ability not many NHL players have - let alone this Easton Cowan fella. Not comparable at all in my honest opinion.

Cowan has wheels which is what I would want in any sub 6 foot tall player and the production is great.

I think he's gonna be a nice part of the Leaf's middle 6 for a long time.

Play style (not ceiling or potential) I get some Kadri or Marchand vibes off him which probably means very little because I haven't seen him all that much.

According to him, for some reason Caufield's size doesnt matter at all for his game but Cowan's does.

I'd love to hear what aspects of Cowan's game relies on his size.

Ridly Greig is 1 inch taller, same weight, but I'm sure for some reason his size doesn't matter for him.
Greig sucks and his game is much different, why would you ever compare Cowan to him?

Cowan is more comparable to Jordan Dumais. Have you ever seen him play?
