I think he's just pointing out it's maybe more "bi polar" (or just as) to change your entire account to focus on making fun of an analyst(?) after a bad goof and bad things to say about Boucher (even if those comments are fairly accurate) as it is for a fanbase change their opinion from bad on draft day based on rankings (fanbases fall victim to this every year), to good after seeing him for the first time in pre-season against pro's.

He's a Sens fan, they have a handful of them that think about the Leafs more than a lot of Leaf fans. It's normal. It's just funny when they get offended at Leaf fans being "arrogant" and "condescending" the minute they stop doing it and it's being done to them (a couple of them do that constantly).

You are right. My bad. The vocal minority, is louder than the quiet majority, especially for a fanbase as big as Toronto.

But then you look and you Knies and Woll on the team already and then you have the likes of Cowan, Minten and Niemla making strong first impressions.

I don't consider them graduates yet, Knies only has 3 career regular season and Woll has 11 split over 2 years.

They will be graduates after this season but not yet.

It is absolutely lacking star power compared to the top prospect groups in the league. The Leafs already have the stars, simply need to develop contributing NHL level pieces to some degree that can fit in around the stars. I think for what it is the overall outlook could be a lot worse.

Yeah, we don't need any homeruns at forward anyway - we don't have to hit on guys who can be first liners. We need forwards who can slot in on the second and third line, chip in offense, control the puck and play with a high compete level while earning close to league minimum so we can use our cap space elsewhere.

I think Cowan is a perfect example of a guy who looks pretty damn likely to do just that, whether it's this year or a year or two from now, and we have a few others as well.

Shown great speed, high level skill and a consistent work ethic.

I think he's more explosive and creative offensively than many expected.

Konecny and Kadri are a couple guys that come to mind when I watch him, I think that's his plausible ceiling if he develops really well.

Stylistically I definitely like the Konecny comp. Obviously Konecny has panned out really well, while Cowan’s future (like any non-blue-chipper his age) is a total question mark, but I do see a lot of similarities in their games.

Some similarities to Kerfoot as well.
