Strome will go higher because of name recognition so I see top 10 as very possible. He will have a great year. It does stink that the Isles made some dumb Milbury like trades. Would be cool to see brothers on the same team again just like the old days.
Does this organization ever learn?

Can any Erie fans say who Strome has been playing with for wingers? And what the PP looks like? I assume him and McDavid share the same powerplay unit, but otherwise separate lines?

I attended the game a couple nights ago in Windsor. They were playing on separate lines at ES but were both on the first PP unit. There seemed to be a few times at ES where they'd change McDavid on early to play 20-30 seconds with Strome. I believe Mason Marchment was Strome's LW for the game but can't recall for sure who was the RW. Probably Nick Betz who scored on a bad angle shot to get Erie on the board that night (Strome had an assist on the play).

He plays with Marchment and Betz (although there has been line juggling the last two games with Joel Wigle hurt).

Yes, they're on the PP together. It struggled pretty badly the first two games but exploded last night. Putting two dmen (Fergus and Raddysh) seemed to help.

He's also got better size than the other centers currently ranked in the top 15. The others are more of the medium sized variety, while Strome is 6'2".

It's pretty cool to see two brothers that both have high-end offensive potential. I can't think of too many examples of that (besides the Sedin's). It's gonna be fun to compare the two against each other.

Isn't there a younger Strome also? Does he have the same potential as the older two?

How does Dylan Strome compare to Ryan Strome? Like in terms of playing style/skating/shot/IQ/size/potential?

Yes, Matt Strome. He projects as a potential first rounder in the 2015 OHL Draft.

different style. Dylan likes to slow the game down and use his size and elite vision to make things happen.

Not going to be as good of a skater but he will be bigger. Already 2" taller than Ryan and still has some growing to do, and adding weight.

Still pretty early to make projections but I think Dylan has elite 2nd line center potential.

I know people who have been comparing his vision and IQ to Tavares. With his size, assuming he can bulk up, there is no reason to think that his ceiling isn't in Getzlaf/Thornton territory.

I think he's the best of the Stromes.

Thornton is a good comparable if Strome bulks up. He has a big frame and loves to pass the puck, elite vision and playmaking skills.

On a tear the first three games. Obviously you can't expect him to keep up this pace but I'm hoping for 85 points or so from his this season.

That's a good comparison. Strome is a bit smoother and more cerebral.

And doesn't play anything like MDC at all stylistically, and plays a completely different position. But yeah, good comparison.

They both navigate around the ice like a cagey burglar, while displaying a wisdom far beyond their years. I am simply taking when The Calm Before The Strome played for the Marlies, and Run MDC played for the Vaughan Kings. I haven't had the immense pleasure of seeing either ply their trades for their respective OHL teams live.

I highly doubt he keeps up this pace. He'd end up around 200 points. But 13 points in 4 games, and looking unbelievable is pretty impressive.

I don't mean PPG. I just mean a ridiculous assist to goal ratio. Like if he ended the season with 15 goals, 90 assists.
