The only player capable is Nurse and they have last change. Everytime McDavid is on the ice against Nurse he's contained. Whenever he's not, he capitalizes.

Just carrying Erie right now.

Every time mcdavid touches the puck without nurse, he almost always creates a goal

When nurse is out there, there is a great battle and he creates a chance every 2 times or so. But the only reason he doesn't have 10 this series

This Otters-Greyhound series is pretty similar to Penguins-Rangers series. McDavid is the only offensive force on his team. Other then Game 2 Dylan Strome is doing his best 2015 Malkin impression. Devin Williams is doing what MAF did this playoffs and make saves he shouldn't be making. Also DeBrincat is continuing his terrible playoff play. The rookie of the year is really struggling.

McDavid and the Otters are putting up a fight no one expected from them. First time in 2015 the Greyhounds have lost two games in a row. McDavid has a ridiculous 7 goals in 3 games.

Nurse tracked him down and took the shot away. Pretty sick play actually

Not really.

McDavid was just exhausted and missed the empty net. He still had plenty of space/time to put the puck in, even though Nurse did take some of it away.

What? I expected Eerie to put up the fight they are doing right now especially when you have a Connor McDavid and a Strome on your team.

For those who have been able to watch the games - has McDavid changed his playstyle this series against SSM, hence the increase on goals vs assists?

I think he's taking more shots because the Soo is better defensively than previous matchup and cover the other wingers very well--especially when Nurse is on the ice. He's a beast.

When he passes the puck to his teammates they either don't bury the puck or they turn it over. The Otters offense is Connor McDavid. It's Pittsburgh Penguins level of no secondary scoring.

Should have had 2 assists tonight but teammates couldnt bury, and one got robbed

Legendary commentary on that goal as well.

"good thing storage is on digital now you'll need a flew a few...clouds...for all the highlights this guy has made throughout the course of the year"

He has 32 points in 12 playoff games, I'm having a hard time finding playoff records for the OHL, anyone have a link?

According to this website Jason Dawe holds the record with 51 points in 21 games. In recent memory Rob Schremp scored 47 points in 18 games in 2005-2006 and Mark Scheifele scored 41 in 21 a couple years back. If McDavid were to play 21 games he is on pace for 56 points, though I would say its still unlikely he breaks the record.
