Honestly both goals look exactly like what you see from him on tapes and highlights which is a good sign. Biggest concern might be him getting injured like Savoie last year but hopefully with a 24 game season the chances of that are much more mitigated.

Anyone know what height he is now? Elite prospects has him at 5’10 but the Pats website has him at 5’9. He looks more like 5’9 now to me on the ice.

I'd say 5'9ish but he took a hit from Guhle against the boards and it didn't make him hesitant after, doesn't have a slim frame. His playmaking was awesome also and should've had 2-3 assists as he put it on a plate for his teammates but they just aren't quite on his level.

The other team was playing the box, standard way to defend shorthanded...but i imagine teams are going to quickly find out to take the puck out of his hands and make someone else beat you, even if it means one or two other guys being wide open. You can't let this kid carry the mail into the zone.

His shot is NHL-calibre...at 15. Everything else aside, Bedard is going to step into the NHL with one of the best shots in the league.

And at 15 he’s still growing. When he has another growth spurt, he will likely take a step back in skill as his body adjusts. But when he’s finished growing, this kid will be lights out good.

I don’t think it is. I mean Crosby is only like 5’10’’ or 5’11’’, so if Bedard fills out then it’s no issue at all and it looks like he’s already a thick kid. But I doubt he’ll get much taller.

It is. Seems like a Matthews/Stamkos type centre who can really score.

With that being said people seem to say he’s an outstanding passer as well.

For those who are prospect experts, how does Bedard compare to McDavid, Crosby, Matthews, Stamkos, and Tavares at the same age? I’m not just talking numbers but as a prospect overall.

You can't predict that he will grow without looking at his genetics, also a good chance that he doesn't grow anymore we don't know this

I think it’s very rare for a boy to not have at least an inch left to grow at 15, no? Obviously it is a possibility, but so is him growing 4+ inches as other boys do after that age.

Point being that I sincerely doubt size will be an issue for Bedard. He has the Crosby build.
