Mecca of sexual assault ! Nice one!Agreed.
Looks like Calgary got the after-shocks of Bedard's WJC performance.
Hey Stan Bowman and the rapists are good guys, Jonathan Toews told me so.Mecca of sexual assault ! Nice one!
It will be interesting. With the way Bedard has come out of the WJC, I can certainly see them having a better record in the second half than in the first. I don't think catching Calgary is out of the realm of possibilities. It will be interesting to see if Regina makes any big trades. Right now they're in the cannon fodder range for the the big 3 in the East and they'll likely get swept in the opening round. IF they can catch Calgary for the 5th seed they have a small chance to upset Moose Jaw. If they don't move up past the 6th seed they may as well just trade what they can.

I also wonder what the price might look like for a Bedard. The Zellweger trade was huge, but there is also a slightly higher chance that he plays in the WHL again next year again than Bedard. Bedard will make the NHL. With Zellweger, it's down to whether he should be in the AHL or WHL. He still likely goes to the AHL, but there's higher chance of the Blazers getting a 2nd year out of him than there would be for whoever trades for Bedard. The only thing I am confident about, is that the Red Deer Rebels wouldn't trade for him. I don't think we have the future assets, and I don't think Brent Sutter is about to blow his wad on the remainder of this season when they still likely wouldn't be able to get through Winnipeg.
I'm not sure about Saskatoon, but Winnipeg doesn't make much sense to me only because they don't need the firepower. They're the favorite anyway this year, in my opinion. Will Seattle or Portland go all in? I don't follow the West as closely as the East, as I'm a Rebels follower.Very true. The longer it goes the less teams remain that are willing to go all in. Kamloops was the obvious target with them being the hosts, but they likely have very little of value left after that massive trade. Not sure how willing Winnipeg, Red Deer or Saskatoon are this year. Maybe Seattle or Portland are willing to go all in.

No doubt. If Bedard were to bust/struggle like Laf/Wright did
I wouldn't ever consider give a damn about a prospect again.
He is significantly better than Hughes. It depends on where he goes but I could see him struggle/not be a Calder favourite his 1st year in the NHL.
Bedards a bit heavier but is about the same height that Hughes was when he was drafted and isn't as speedy as Hughes. Obviously Bedard has the better shot though.
If he has a good playmaking winger or is a winger for the first year and gets a good Centerman I think he could have a great start but some of the lottery teams are a bit skeletal in skill in those positions.
I wonder how many of the lottery teams would put him on their top line next season.
Nice reading comprehension. He is significantly better than Hughes.
Everyone needs to temper their damn expectations.Nice reading comprehension.
Button's so weird. I legit listened to him on TSN radio in the middle of the tournament loudly exclaiming that he is a franchise level prospect not a generational one (along with him listing examples of the difference between generational-franchise-superstar). And then a week later he's now generational?
