One of the greatest tragedies of our time was not being able to see what he could have done with an even half decent hockey team around him
Of the three teams with a chance to get him in the 2020 WHL Draft Lottery (Moose Jaw and Tri-City being the other two), Regina was the worst team for him to go to, strictly from a team perspective. The Pats had emptied the cupboards getting to the league final in 2017 and then hosting the Memorial Cup in 2018. Not enough time or assets to recoup and give Bedard a nice supporting cast.

Imagine Bedard in Moose Jaw's lineup right now? Even Tri-City is having a strong year with the #1 power play in the league.

It's too bad he wasn't traded to Seattle just to see how good junior teams can get lol.

The 12-13 Halifax Mooseheads were the best team I’ve personally ever seen in Junior.

58-6-3 (346GF- 176GA)

16-1 in the post season

Mem Cup W

Didn’t even go all in at the deadline like most junior teams do because the team was already near perfect

Hat trick - 2 away from 50 on the year (but I could see them taking away his final goal).

Has also added 2 assists, for a cool 5 points on the night.

And moving up in the standings to a slightly more favorable 1st. rd. matchup; and with some Bedard heroics may even win a rd, All in all, I think he made the right decision to stay with his team. Love this player.
