Bedard is Easily the best draft prospect since McDavid.

Is anything that he specializes at that I should know?

Because it's likely going to become the new trend in Future Drafts if he succeds.
his shot is probably the best since...I don't even know

I'd rather he not do the Radulov swashbuckler twist there, but whatever, It was a sweet little finish for Bedard.

5th in league scoring.. I don't see him catching the top 2 scorers but there is potential he could finishe 3rd in scoring IMO

Comparing him and Wright... How big is the gap?
Huge. It's a chasm.

Consider that in his last 28gp, Bedard has 4 more goals (28) and only 10 less points (61) than Wright has all season, despite playing on a way worse team.

The difference was obvious at the WJC.

Very very obvious gap in talent, Crosby vs Bergeron, McDavid vs Matthews, etc both will be great players but Bedard is clearly a better player currently let alone the difference there will be in their respective draft years.

It's pretty big to everyone outside of Toronto

I’m not from Toronto or a fan. It’s not a big gap. Matthews defensive transformation really makes it interesting. He’s been better this season. If he keeps it up again next year it’ll be neck and neck.

Not sure like 1.5 seasons makes up for McDavid being much better every other season of their career but this isn’t the thread to discuss that.

Can’t wait to see Bedard play next season and see the type of numbers he can put up on an actual good team after getting bigger and better next year. McDvaid type numbers in the lower scoring WHL would be huge
