Watching bits and pieces of this Nashville game and yikes. How much longer does he stick in the NHL? Sorry I just don’t see it. Shame, I thought he would be a strong 2C in the NHL when watching in his DY and DY-1.

He looked like he was on a decent trajectory towards sticking as an NHL regular after last season. We dared to hope that with Johansen gone, Glass might slide into that sort of role on the team eventually. But this season.... yikes indeed. They are sticking with him and playing him just in hopes of salvaging something out of the bridge contract they gave him. But things definitely aren't working. Preds are pretty much going into the tank the rest of this season, so I would guess they'll just keep running him out there anyway. Just in case there's some spark of an NHL player left. But it doesn't look good. :(

Quite the 3 way trade with Philly and Vegas. :D

The problem is they don't have any other options with Glass and his $2.5M bridge contract. Parssinen and Tomasino are better, but they are also on ELCs and waivers exempt, so they can still play big roles in the AHL. Glass they are going to have to ride that one out on the big team with their fingers crossed. It's not like Glass has NEVER shown signs of being an NHLer. He did last season, and occsasionally at times still does. So all they can do is play him and hope for the best. Since the team isn't competitive anyway, there isn't any real harm in it.
