Feel like he's earned his way to spend the season with the Golden Knights and so forth.

But I do understand why he's on the third line, but think he should centre that line when Tuch comes back consisting of Pirri-Glass-Tuch.

I just wonder if Eakin could tolerate being on the fourth line.

Both Glass, & Eakin should be on the third line unless Pirri proves having him on the roster is better than having Nosek. So far that's a big no.

I mean he’s playing the role you about expected. 3C, PP1, about 14 minutes a game on one of the best play driving teams in the league. Given that, his play driving has been average compared to his teammates.

1.38 shots a game isn’t anything great. His two goals have come on the powerplay and 3 of 7 points have been powerplay points.

The player I’m surprised hasn’t been talked about more, honestly, is Jordan Kyrou.

I mean, you’d think Deboer has got to put Glass between Stone and Pacioretty over Chandler Stephenson at some point.
Deboer loves Stephenson to be a glue guy and Stone is basically the center on the line with driving play and his defensive aptitude. However Glass' playmaking and vision is what puts him as the 1C on the PP and when given a chance (was sat a lot at the beginning of the season due to cap issues) has given them a 3rd scoring line. I'd love to see Glass get a bigger role, but Deboer likes what he has going right now so Cody is likely to stay at the 3c position for 5 on 5 unless they go on a losing skid and he tries to change things up.

Glass is played as the net front on the PP and only takes the FO if Karlsson gets throw out.

I thought at first that Glass should line up as 1C, however Stone and Pacioretty seem to be doing just fine with Chandler as their centre both are around a point per game. The games I’ve seen Glass, Tuch, and Roy seem to be money together and gives the Knights three dangerous lines. Don’t know if you could say the same if Chandler and Glass are swapped. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

Well give you Sam Steel for him.

Sent to the minors

what’s the deal with this kids ability to stick even as a 3rd line center role?

He needs to play top line minutes and #1 PP minutes, especially after his injuries. He won't get either in Nashville at the moment, was brutal at the dot the other night and has been pretty invisible so far, hopefully he gets up to speed pretty soon, but we'll see.

Still very young, 22.

Really good two-way center,

Still a project but he is having a strong season in the AHL
60 points in 62 games, is +14.

9th in the AHL

Should be playing in the NHL though, not in the AHL..

You'd think Preds would need a player like Cody Glass...
guess not.

Maybe he gets traded to a team willing to give him an opportunity.

Had a couple injuries at the worst possible time and then couldn’t steal a scoring role on Vegas’ stacked squad. I’m not surprised in the slightest he’s killing the AHL, as the kid’s puck handles and vision have been off the charts from day one.

I hope the Preds give him every chance to knock Granlund to 3C next year, and if he can’t, then they trade him to somewhere willing to run with him as a 2C and let him find his legs at the NHL level.

He didn't know how to win a face-off and had zero confidence when he first got here and we've got Johansen, Granlund and Sissons as our top three centers. We needed Glass to get top minutes in Milwaukee rather than 4th line minutes in Nashville.

I think that's underrating Granlund, he's defensively sound and currently .75PPG. Would love to see Glass challenge him, but I don't think he will yet. Would love to see him on a line with Jeannot and Trenin though.

I think you need to look up what off the charts means. A more appropriate description would be ‘very good’ or ‘well above average’.

You can see the skill, but never has been able to play 5 on 5 at the NHL level.
