Lol, one-trick pony is Nichushkin, who doesn't have anything, but skating and speed (along with his frame). Leason has a very good shot and can pass as well.
I wasn't saying he's a one-trick pony in terms of generating every single chance offencively, but that he does have one move which tends to generate a lot for himself.

Never heard of this guy but he made Team Canada WJ and is putting up some numbers in Western League albeit as an overager...

Last year of draft eligibility, will someone take a chance on him with a mid/late round pick?

Some people think he’s going to be a 1st rounder, I personally don’t see it but I don’t think there’s anyway he gets out of the 2nd round either.

He didn't impress me at all in the one game I saw him play in the pre tournament of the WJ's.

Anyone have a book on this player? Somethings I should watch for?

He really intrigues me and on paper seems to be the perfect pick for the Oilers to make this draft.

Watch his highlights, maybe you can pick up few things to watch for :)

One game but he looked really sloppy to me. Bad decisions with the puck, ugly skating, ill give him more of a shot ofcourse and big players take longer. His development curve is clearly a longer one than a regular player. Hoping he impeoves as the coach seems pretty set on giving him lots of opportunity.

Wow, people think he's gonna go that high? Do experts/analysts agree?

This could change by draft day but Craig Button has him in the 2nd round, he’s popping up there more and more every list... There’s still lots of season left, I wouldn’t be surprised if that changes but as of right now he seems to be in the 2nd round.

Never watched him so I really have no scouting on him, I see he's a big guy listed at 6.04. Did he hit a growth spurt or something recently? Is it possible he is just beating up on younger guys with his size?

From what I’ve heard he improved his skating dramatically over the summer, even though he’s still not very quick

How can you evaluate his skating as not very quick???? He is faster than most of his sized players you know.

Brett is lethal PK:er, due to his foot speed and checking abilities, he leads the entire CHL (not just WHL) in SHG this season (and in points).
- dude also haves some slick moves on breakaways

Why I get out of this video (and its the only footage I have seen from him), is that he seems to be a highly efficient player.

Almost none of his points come from plays demanding a high level of skill, plays that happen rarely and are potentially hard to transfer to professional hockey. He makes simple, smart plays and seems to use his teamates very well, not flashy but efficient.

Just out of this video I'd say that it looks like he could have the potential to become a great 2nd/3rd line C.

I would definitely throw extra 2nd/3rd for him. Probably high 2nd if there's rumours about some organization going really high.

Is he a natural center?

If Tanner Pearson goes in the late 1st I think Leason will go between 20-40.
