Why is it that so many people needlessly talk more about how to say players name for countless pages and circles than talk about the players skill and attributes. It's madness I tell you!!!

Well, it's better than when people talk about a different player for countless pages.

My hope is that he will be talked about a lot in the future so it´s good that people know his name ;)

Seems like he needs a stable environment to develop that will give him opportunities. I'd say stay in Finland for 2 years and maybe another 2 in the AHL.

Yes he has 6 pts in 3 games, but 2 goals were scrap goals and 1 EN, and the first assist from today he practically just gave it to the next guy, some of you need to calm down here he's having some puck luck, but 2-3 of his points did come from very nice play.

Weak arguments. Points are points. Also never disrespect scrap goals again.

Stronger argument would be that it's a silly meaningless tournament against weak opponents. I wanna see him succeed on Liiga level.

Well, there is no closer way to pronounce Finnish y in English.

Ra-two is close enough. Or can you write it in a better way?

One way is borrowing the German "ü", but it's easier to not try to mangle the writing, just say (the "ä" is like "cat" and) the "y" is like "news" but shorter. Or just link it said out loud like Matti did.

Ooops, I hope you're not a professional scout

And you are who? A scout? I like all the Finnish players selected before him, but I would never passed on Aatu and picked them before him.
Even if I do think Tuomaala has sniper potential in a PP formation and as a second or third line winger in the NHL. Philly fan btw.
Koivunen has talent but I do see him as top9 medium risk-low reward kind of a talent. Aatu on the other hand is medium risk-high reward in my books. The kid has already shown that against the best American players at his age and against a pretty stacked Team Sweden.
Last years Kärpät was a joke and a bad environment for young prospects. Let's just see what happens down the road, I´m more than confident that he will succeed. Just look and listen at the praises he got from Brad Lambert. Honestly, that should say a whole lot.

I also believe Tuomaala will have a better career than some of those late round picks in the first round. Even if I think his game is a bit too much about skating and shooting I do trust him to succeed with a good playmaking center.
Malinen too, a sleeper in this draft without doubt. With good guidance he will become a NHL player and that's pretty good for a sixth round or isn't it scout?
Even if i´m a Philly fan I´m ready to say that Isles killed it in this draft. Great second round pick and a great sixth round pick.

So, move along buddy.

So it's 5+2 in 3,5 games. He's a much bigger talent than many (most) that were drafted before him and it's beginning to show now that he's not burdened by an extremely limited role (like at the start of the previous season), lower confidence it brought and covid issues.
