More like the better version of Petteri Noelkalainen for the Islanders hopefullyYes, he will def turn into Bossy! Great example! Barzal was drafted in the mid first round..
Sorry, that bust doesnt ring a bell to me
Raty with the hat trick today just hours after being drafted. Kids got a chip on his shoulder.
Isles always take the player who drops, there is a reason why all the GMs passed on a player who was at one time, top 10 talent, some GMs twice.
I know - crazy. Everyone knows Pavel Brendl is the next Bossy.Yes, he will def turn into Bossy! Great example!
Legit question...
In the history of the NHL draft has any prospect scored a hat trick this quickly after being drafted? Has to be a record no?
He really needs to improve his skating and balance.
When you are slow, have bad balance and tunnel vision, it's not a little thing.
I wouldn't get my hopes up, but hopefully he gets better
And yet so many players suffer because of it. Like, hey, you're good enough to be drafted, maybe work on skating through your teen years. I just never understood how these players get all the way to the draft and you hear how skating is a major weakness.Skating is the most teachable thing in hockey. This is great news.

Tavares rookie season he was a horrendous skater. No balance and was constantly falling down. He worked his ass off with Dawn Braide and by year three he was a decent skater. It’s not impossible all.
It seems like his role with Karpat did not put him in a position to succeed. His tunnel vision could be a result of trying to do to much out there in his limited minutes. I’m sure this coming season when he’s used to his strengths we’ll see a completely different player.I think with Raty it's more than just skating. It's the skating and lack of hockey sense combination that dropped him.
Whether his tunnel vision and lack of hockey sense is truly an issue or just a set of bad habits that he needs to grow out of remains to be seen.
It's not just last year with Karpat, go back a couple of years to his U20s and U18s. Scouts look at more than just a single season or event to formulate an opinion on a player. It seems like his role with Karpat did not put him in a position to succeed.
