Yes, it did. I've been saying that Raty has been overhyped for a while now.
True, they were really good but as far as i remember they were a little bit snake bitten. Saturday eve so little bit drunk thoughWhat are you talking about? I just can’t imagine why he hasn’t produced in juniors last yeqr. But Raty Raty Ranta line was amazong at WJC and everybody at here was wanting more icetime to that line.
Never was neither, just people including me questioning his top pick potential, i seriously hope he gets a bigger opportunity next game and runs with it, i want him to succeed as much as anyone else. Not a future bust anymore!
Demoted to A-juniors, what a joke this team is right now.
Better for Räty to get top 6 minutes in juniors than bottom 6 minutes with random grinders in Kärpät IMO.
I’m seriously disappointed in Manner as a coach. First of all his team plays this extremely boring robotic hockey that is awful to watch. Also he seems to be an absolutely safe playing coach that also doesn’t like to give even extremely talented youngsters any real good roles in his team.Well yeah but I just don't understand why Manner keeps playing Mustonen at 2C when he has 3 points in 13 games while getting top minutes on 5vs5 and PP. Räty has one less point in half the games in very limited minutes.
Räty got dropped from the WJC. I don't know the situation of the junior NT, but damn this choice is rough for Aatu.
I'm pretty certain that this is a conscious decision of the coach(es), even Puistola got dropped in favor of "lesser" names. Is he injured or something? His fall has been tragic, this will drop him out of the first round.

His brother, Aku is on the team. That's a bad decision flat out comparing the two so far, even with Aku being 19.

I thought in the beginning of his coaching career that he would be an open minded coach who would favor more offensive kind of hockey instead of this awful safe playing old school coaching that he has been forcing on the Kärpät players. It seems to me that he is honestly ruining things for the very talented Kärpät youngsters at the moment. What a pity really.
I have seen 20ish games from him and i've never seen anything special about him other than that he skates well for his size and has a good wrist shot, but he was always in the wrong spot and never got passed the puck as a result. Lack of hockey IQ is what it seems to be, i hope he could turn it around but it sure don't look too good for him right now.Ok.
Whatta hell has happened? From sure top. 2 draft pick to bad numbers at junior?
Anyone actually seen kid play?
Oh. Sad if he lacks in the most important part of the game.I have seen 20ish games from him and i've never seen anything special about him other than that he skates well for his size and has a good wrist shot, but he was always in the wrong spot and never got passed the puck as a result. Not really the same deal as Kotka, & Teuvo were twice-underaged in their draft years, and hadn't played the year before(when they would've been thrice-underaged).Kotkaniemi and Teräväinen didn't make it on their draft year either, this really doesn't mean much in the bigger picture, Aatu still has good potential.
