My son is a video game player, and has won call of duty tournaments in LA and St Louis.....
I tried to play with him, but he thought shooting asteroids or getting a frog across the road was a bit below him...

I can relate, entirely.

Daughter was first born and played and enjoys the sports I love….hockey, soccer, hoops, softball.

My son is a track, karate, video game kid, but he had some health issues when he was little, so I’ve always been a little protective and TBH easier on him.

Like everyone, I obviously don’t have a favorite, but there are things about each that I’m immensely proud of and lots of things I wish they would do different.

In the end, they both know how much I love them, which is all that matters.

My best friend and I growing up both for about 10-12 years got super into WarBirds (free online flight simulator). This was around the time that AOL Chat/AIM was getting popular and my user name was patdude (or something along those lines). Warbirds only allowed 6 characters so I just chose to shorten to "patdud" and while you wouldn't think "dud" would be a good name it just stuck through those 10/12 years and past that. I've had a rotating list of names on this site in a past account but recreated recently with this one.

I’ve initialed some docs with CDJ, so your username always makes me pause a moment. It’s been staring me in the face for years.

I’m a Junior so it doesn’t quite line up, but I throw it in there cuz I’m a cheeky bugger.

Mine is pretty easy.

“r” is the first letter of my first name, and “fournier” is my last name. I’m a member of IBEW Local 103, so that’s where the 103 comes from.

My screen name has NOTHING to do with former NHL referee and Montreal radio host Ron Fournier. I’ve gotten numerous questions about that over the years, but I had never even heard of him until I came here and had already chosen my screen name.

Sounds like something Ron Fournier would say.

Some time in 2015ish, I made the switch to iPhone and could not for the life of me remember my information I used for my old account, email/password ect. Instead of figuring out, I lurked on here for about a year and then made this account. I've been on here since around 2008ish. Old account was BostonFrank89
