Any leaf fan trying to defend this is delusional. Intensively dirty with an intent to injure. Given that Bunting has a bit of a history and playoff games suspended "count" for more, this should easily be 5+ games

A 5+ game playoff suspension would equate to a 8-10 game regular season suspension. It’s a bad hit, but that would be insane.
Does he have history? I'm honestly asking. I can't remember him being suspended before but maybe he was.

I stand by everything else I said, but yes you're right, that number is too high. 2-3 is more appropriate. Really, I was just trying to get Leaf fans worked up (which really is low-hanging fruit, I can do better...)

I don't know if I've seen a single Leaf fan defend it. But based on usual suspensions, 1 game is fair. He has no history as far as I know.
