Confirmed with Link: [BUF/MIN] Buffalo acquires Jordan Greenway for a 2023 2nd (from VGK) and 2024 5th

He and Foligno sort of rotated who was on which side from my experience of Wild viewing.
Speaking of Foligno, can we do a reunion tour? Imagine replacing Okoposo and Olofsson with Foligno and Greenway. That'd make the team harder to pay against.

We all know what happened with Tage when Meatballs got ahold of him .....

Not saying that (huge jump) is going to happen Greenway, but it could
Well…that jump can’t happen because it’s never happened anywhere accept Tage but Greenway is a different kind of player who, unlike Tage, has shown the ability to play his game in the league before.

his points will increase some just by being being on a team that scores a lot more…but his overall game will improve just by being used correctly.

Granato will put him in position to succeed and let him be himself and those are things that the current staff in Minny didn’t do.

Although I haven't hated Quinn on the first line, I do wonder if Donny throws Greenway up on the top line. Not as skilled as Tuch obviously but I think having another big guy with Tage and Skinner makes that line work.

Wouldn't be surprised if Donny gives it try.

That was my suggestion earlier in the thread. Start him strong

Donny certainly has options on where to use Greenway. Part of me wants him with Krebs so he can go full rat mode with backup.
Its funny idk if I would say that Krebs can be a "rat" because he doesn't seem to be the one starting shit but he won't take shit from people. But to your point with Greenway on his wing maybe he will feel more comfortable starting shit.

It's about value. I don't see how this player is worth a 2nd round pick.
Teams are finally coming around to the actual worth of picks outside the first round. Only a third of players picked in the second will ever even play 100 games in the NHL. If you're an NFL fan, I consider second round picks equivalent to like a 4th or 5th in the NFL.
