Greenway says he’s always looking to pass. Donny gonna make a star center outta that boy
That's going to be a secret weapon to help bring in players to a market with stigmaI think it's really cool reading how badly Granato wanted him in the team. That has to inspire some confidence in Greenway.
Not sure how one has anything to do with the other. Kane had 1 destination he'd agree to go to.We really paid as much for Greenway as the rangers did for Patrick Kane.
Really close to Potsdam, for referenceNot sure if it was mentioned but Greenway is from Canton NY, up near The Thousand Islands, really beautiful country. Probably not someone who is going to sulk here in the winters and want to play in California or Florida.
And he's had a terrible season. And is a pending UFA.Not sure how one has anything to do with the other. Kane had 1 destination he'd agree to go to.
He's a treat to listen to on After the Whistle. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he's in a front office soon. He has very measured takes and seems to be very in touch with whats going on around the league in terms of specific players, strategies, technology, etcFull marks to Vanek for calling the deal.
He’s one of the only former players besides the guys that are already in coaching or management that I believe watches a ton of hockey no matter what team. He's a treat to listen to on After the Whistle. I'd like to see him as that disrupter on the Thompson line that is missing, and put the other lines back to where they were the game Tuch got injured.I'm curious to see what Don does lineup-wise. If he goes in as the d-cover for Thompson and Skinner or as a retrieval guy for Cozens... might be more than just playing down the lineup.

Yup. Quinn is starting to feel it, but he still gets confused in the D zone, and he's with two players who also look to get confused in the d zone. Tage's next step is improving his two-way game, which I think he will in time; defense is not an easy task for a center.Yeah, he has the size and d-zone coverage that they're missing without Tuch. I like what Quinn's doing up there but their d-zone play is as always a concern.

The Donny Effect..Not a fan of Greenway. He's big and powerful but plays small. Add to that, little offensive skill. We didnt give up much..I guess
This may work w both him and Riley.Yeah, he has the size and d-zone coverage that they're missing without Tuch. I like what Quinn's doing up there but their d-zone play is as always a concern.
Deep pockets of fifty legit guys fighting for 6 contested sabre spots along w 6 forward and 4 D in ROC..We really paid as much for Greenway as the rangers did for Patrick Kane.
Canton is the home of St. Lawrence University in case anybody is interested. ECAC doormat and alma mater to such NHL legends as Rich Peverley and also Rich Peverley.
If he can be a 30 pt, physical middle six winger, that's a win.
KA did mention they thought Greenway could play up and down the lineup, so that makes me think they are are optimistic about some upside. If he is a solid on L3W I would be happy.Greenway will be fun to watch and we'll wish he pushed people around more. But he won't be an impact player until next season, maybe a full year from now.
And Mike McKenna.Canton is the home of St. Lawrence University in case anybody is interested. ECAC doormat and alma mater to such NHL legends as Rich Peverley and also Rich Peverley.
And Mike McKenna.
Canton is the little brother of Potsdam. And I say that as a completely unbiased ‘96 grad of Clarkson University.
