A 1st would have been nice, but he overperformed and it seems like a relatively fair return. Blais is an impactful role player and still young.

I made peace with Buch leaving, but the return is still very, very bad for his caliber of player.

What do you make of this?

More moves are definitely on the radar.

I think for better or worse Drury has vision for what he wants the bottom six to be and I think he's going to make some of those Amonte for Matteau/Noonan type moves we've discussed on here.

The concern for me right now is that Drury, from most reports, has kind of taken an isolationist approach thus far. Maybe that works for him. We will see.

Blais is 9 months younger than Buch and has a career high of 15 points.

2nd is next year in a better draft.
