Blais is a year younger then buch and has a career high of 18 points. Cant see that in anyway being a good focal point

Doesn't seem like a good trade but we gotta see what Buch ends up extending for to better understand this trade.
Well, (very) early returns on Drury are not great.
Built Boston is a much better resumè than what looks like deconstructing New York.
Maybe it's just me, but this sounds a lot like Drury having his strings pulled.

Would have preferred a straight up 1st rounder but Blais is good with the 2nd. I’ll miss Buch. Good luck to him in STL but he priced himself out of here.
Should be pretty apparent to everyone Drury gearing up to add a 2C. Buchs cap hit with what we have tied up, and young talent on the wings was a goner for a while now.
Edge what were the other offers?
Drury got a 2nd in a loaded Draft and Blais who could be a top notch cheap young bottom 6 guy for a long time.
