Clearly management doesn't like Buchnevich for whatever reason. Did the antic Buch threw in the revenge game against the Caps set Dolan off into telling Drury to jettison Buch no matter what?

I'm glad Panarin is going to get to play with a bunch of tough bottom feeders next year. Absolute joke. He has a career total of 35 points. Buchnevich had 48 in 54 last season, and is a beast on the PK. What are you doing Drury? What an absolute idiot.

I think The Rangers were/Are enamored the way the Blues and the Lightning played during their cup runs and Blais/Goodrow helped in playing that heavy game.
Fine. I think our quota of getting some tough pain in the ass guys to play should be good.
Buch was gone anyway he wasn't resigning here for 6 plus million annually.
Now I would prefer to not make anymore trades. Just have a good draft weekend with the 6 or 7 picks we have in the first 4 rounds.

Will he be moved for a career fourth liner and a third?

The honest answer is yes that's a possibility.

Right now I see the Rangers trying to construct a bottom six with guys who have specific roles and attribiutes. So you're looking at Goodrow, Blais, {insert name}.

The idea itself isn't wrong or flawed. It's finding the right players and getting them at reasonable prices.

This franchise is a f***ing joke. Fire people that know what theyre doing and return to the Slat ways. This is stupidity in its highest form. We basically got a bag of pucks and used rags for a 1st line wingers.

What did he get for McDonagh and Miller? I mean the trade is absolutely underwhelming but I don't know that it's a given that there was the opportunity to get much--if anything--more than he did.

And yeah we could have held onto him until the TDL, but what do you do then? Trade him when we're hopefully in a playoff race and he's a big part of it?

Trade sucks but maybe the market for Buchnevich wasn't what we would expect it to be.

Apparently. Surprising. It wouldve been nice to at least get a 1st for him, that being the centerpiece.

I guess giving Kreider the bag pretty much sent Buch out of town. You can’t say it didn’t. Couldn’t have a $6.5M third line Kreider. I think Drury had no choice. Worst kept secret that Rangers couldn’t afford Buchnevich if they’re going to pay their RFA’s, kids, and be in on another stud C.
I think Kreider became a 3rd liner as soon as that ping pong ball popped up last year.

Drury royally f***ed this one up. Trading Buch is not the problem. Trading him and not getting fair value is. Pathetic and embarrassing.

The only explanation is Drury said f*** it let me take the best offer to move the salary out as i line up the next move.

All this team should have done is just kept steering the rebuild. You can get Goodrow for a 7th to toughen up a bit? Fine.

But we are about to go off the god damn rails just to try to win with Kreider-Panarin-Zibanejad.

It's f***ing embarrassing. Those three are not good enough to be the core of a Cup champion.

Build around Kakko and Laf morons!

Moving Buch moves Kakko up the lineup

You think Dolan knows who Blais is?

No, but Dolan is the moron who fired one of the best front offices in the NHL for Glen “Steve Mills” Sather and some inexperienced f*** best known for finessing us a decade ago all because we were a few points out from a playoff spot.
