The Bucs secondary, while not amazing yet, definitely looks better and perhaps not a weak spot. Losing Hall for the year right off the bat was rough, but McCollum looks good, and they still have Wnfield and Dean in the group as well. With those guys, in addition to re-acquiring Jordan Whitehead and drafting Tykee Smith (plus additional depth with Josh Hayes), the unit has the capability to be solid this year and not a total sieve as in years past.

Whitehead coming back has been almost messianic. Other than taking care of business with Godwin, keeping Whitehead here for good has to be among our highest priorities. Also massive LOLz that Devin White talked so much shit after leaving Tampa and can't even get on the field

Yeah, White seemed more and more like a diva as time went on. I also didn't mention the other newer guy, Christian Izien, who stepped up nicely and also looks to add depth at the S position.

And today's "effort" is one example of why the Bucs are nowhere close to being a contender yet. Championship level teams don't get run over by a team like the Denver Broncos.

The team wasn't prepared for today and it showed. Just complete failure from top to bottom.

Yeah there are injures but there is no reason they should lose like that to a team like the broncos.

The Bucs have a rather difficult schedule this year, and after last week's win at Detroit, there seemed to be some reason for optimism that this season might ha e some promise after all. Of course the team then phones it in against a team that, had they actually cared to.prepare for and give effort against, should have handled easily. Now instead of being 3-0 and leading the division entering a brutal stretch, they are tied. They'll be lucky imo to be 5-5 entering their bye, as I doubt they do better than 3-4 against Eagles, @New Orleans, @Falcons, Ravens, Falcons, @Chiefs, 49ers.

God I love smashing the Eagles over and over these days. Very cathartic after living through the Dungy era
Hear hear. I think it would have been a different story had Hurts had Brown and Smith to throw to but I don't think anyone wouldn't have been happy with 3-1.

If we lose this game tomorrow I'm not gonna be nice about it. For as happy as that win against Detroit made me, the history of Todd Bowles these last 2 years has been playing down to our competition. We did vs Denver and like 4 times last year.

You don't contend for a Superbowl and lose tomorrow. Win that shit

This team may have the worst secondary I e ever seen. Not a snowballs chance in hell that a team with a defense this bad is winning anything.

No balls from this coaching staff whatsoever. 2 drives to seal the game with an offense that had been doing well with downfield passing, and all they do is hand offs and garbage screen passes. Don't even get a fg to make them have to score a td. This team's a joke.

I'll never waste my time with this joke of a team again until some real coaches are brought in and some actual talent plays on the defense. They can enjoy a 6 or 7 win season though.

Losing because of Bowles specialty again just like the good ol days.
Bowles and the entire defensive staff should be fired asap. Maybe a coach who can coach defense effectively, plus a trade or two for some secondary players that can actually defend, and this season could be salvaged. As none of those things will happen, they'll be lucky to go 7-10 this season and thus, they're not worth any real fan's time any longer imo.

Bowles doesn't know anything besides blitzing and when you have guys that can't get to the quarterback consistently you're boned in that scheme. It works great when you do though.

That screen play late in game after successfully completing it the drive before was hilarious. Falcons read it when they needed to. Bowles sucks. He's a one step forward, two back kind of coach. We actually could be 5-0, at the very least 4-1 with someone worth a f***.

I knew this was gonna happen. I went out of my damn way to talk about losing this game because I knew deep down that it wasn't just liable to happen, it was likely.

f*** it man
