Lost your best two receivers, so obviously the plan should be to throw it 50 times

Look at that 100 million dollar QB with 7 picls in 3 games now, what a bargain! Oh and let's not forget that defense giving up 30+ for the 3rd time in 4 games, most impressive indeed...

LOL at anyone who wants to pin this on Mayfield, he's worth every penny and then some. Can't imagine where this team would be without him.

Defense and defense alone has been the issue this year

36, 27, 41, 31.......points given up the last four games. Not surprisingly we won one of them. The offense continues to put up points but can't outscore this putrid defense. Bowles has ridden Tom Brady's coattails long enough, time for him and his ineffective defense to go.

Yeah, Mayfield has become Winston out there but it's not really surprising. There's a reason he's on his fourth team already. He'll play very well and then kill you with inconsistency and turnovers. We're still putting up points though, and definitely scoring enough to win if we had even a mediocre defense.

Mayfield's terrible decisions have cost them plenty in at least 2-3 games. He's far from blameless.

Mayfield isn't the biggest problem, no. However, he now has 9 interception to go with his 21 td's, which is near the top of the league. He has a lot of yards and td's, but on several occasions, his mistakes have crippled momentum and/or cost them/handed the opponent points. The bigger issues remain the worst defense in tbe league and one of, if not the worst, coaching staffs. Until the latter two are addressed with significant personnel changes, nothing is going to change and improve.

I'm not saying blood isn't on Mayfield's hands. Like, I hold him responsible for the Ravens game getting out of hand. But all the other shit like playing down to Atlanta twice and being completely unprepared vs Denver is an indictment on our coaching. This is a playoff team and a club good enough for double digit wins at minimum. I dont know if its good enough to win a Super Bowl. But most playoff teams are still a move or two away. We are no exception.

I'm not saying deliver me a Lombardi. Winning championships is hard and I won't riot over not winning. We have seen time and again that ANYTHING can happen. If you don't win, you can hold your head high in that is the ultimate truth to the NFL. But Jesus Christ all I am asking is can we at least be good enough to be saying "anything can happen" in December?

If we didn't have Mayfield, we'd be getting crushed every game.

Any time you throw the ball as much as we do, playing from behind, you're going to have picks. No business throwing the ball this many times today.

He hasn't been perfect, but he's way down the list of guys I'd blame.

Ultimately, despite the offensive miscues, they've scored 30, 51, 31 and 26 the last 4 games and gone 1-3. Bowles needs to be gone asap, as his supposed "defensive" pedigree and acumen in coaching had been a joke.

+1

If I'm gonna put Baker on the cross for his mistakes, I'm saying "I'll get to you later" first.

A lot of his picks have been ridiculous playcalls versus just plain throwing wrong. I have no clue WTF we were thinking with either trick play. It's like Bowles decided he's tired of being called too conservative. What's insane is we used to run the ball way more when we were horrible at it than now when we're actually good at it! Bowles should be leaning on Coen to stick to the run instead of thinking we're gunslingers. Keep the ball out of the other team's hands, only way our defense looks decent.

Yeah wtf is up with that nonsense too? We engineered some of the worst rushing attacks in history in the last few years and would run to the bitter end. Seemingly never giving up on a lost cause. We are now finally good at it and say "Naw, let's Bake 40 times a game"

And we wonder why our QB play isn't where we want it to be

The Savannah Bananas are like the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball, so playing in a non-standard stadium may not indicate anything about the Rays.

Lol, let's put a worthless DB on an island against their best wr on the most important play of the game, what could go wrong? Fire this clown Bowles and the rest of the defensive staff asap. Trading g Carlton Davis for a worthless draft pick looks real good now as well...

This team's a ******* joke. 7 wins max. They weren't doing anything before the injuries and since their worthless front office didn't add anyone, they basically phoned in this season. It should be just as bad with a healthier San Fran next week as the shitaneers lose their 4th straight and 5 out of 6.

The good news is we've found a good offensive coordinator, what he's doing on offense minus our top two receivers is pretty incredible. The bad news is we give up 30 pts a week, the league has clearly figured out Todd Bowles defense.

You just knew once KC won the OT toss, they were going to march down the field and score, of course they were. And yeah, you can say that they didn't reach 30 pts until OT, but if not for a centimeter of space they would've scored on a wide open deep touchdown pass early in the game.

The game was much more competitive than I thought it would be, but in the end we ultimately asked our offense to, yet again, have to outscore our putrid defense. We need to move on from Bowles and his scheme, it just has to happen.

You go for two and the win at the end there on the road with a garbage defense 100% of the time. Yet another blunder from genius Bowles.

This coaching staff really is an enigma. Over aggressive last game, then passes up a chance to go for 2 to win it tonight. Why?

The best part will be after they get their dicks kicked in next week by the 49ers, they'll get Evans back after the bye and face mostly putzes down the stretch. Maybe they'll go 6-1 and finish 10-7 to squeak in (but given the strength of ghe NFC this year, maybe not). Then they'll get boatraced by an actual contender and it'll be rinse and repeat for 3 out of the last 4 seasons.

Should've just went for 2. Bowles has to go, simple as that.
Making the right decision doesn’t mean it will work out. Seattle correctly went for it on 4th and 1 in OT at around the rams 20. Didn’t get it. But it was the right decision as ultimately rams scored a TD and won the game after they took over.

But he wouldn’t be blamed for going for 2 on the road. So did the Bucs use their best couple of plays on 1st and 2nd and goal from the 1 to score the TD and this didn’t love their 3rd best option for a 2 point try vs that KC D? Even if that’s the case, better to roll the dice and try to win the game.

So with glaring holes all over the defense and at WR, the Bucs do absolutely nothing at the deadline to address anything. What a laughable excuse of a front office and GM thus organization has.
