OT: Buccaneers, Rays & Other Tampa Bay Sports Teams

$55 million is 4.2% of the projected $1.3 billion dollar stadium.

If the Rays can structure paying the repair over 10 years, it's nominal. $5.5 million a year. That's if they don't get any insurance or tax money.

Everything will probably cost more than it's projected, but move the numbers up a bit. $6.5 million a year, etc. Basically free.
I wish I could say that.

Just get out man. Holy crap.

Demand team team play in Tropicana Field til lease expires. Refuse to fix stadium so they can play until Tropicana Field lease expires.

This is literally St. Pete politics in a nutshell

I can't believe they're gonna lose the Rays just because they're gonna play in Steinbrenner instead of that completely inferior and unusable stadium in Clearwater. Talk about petty and silly.

St Pete politics in a nutshell. Quick. Call mayor Castor and strike a deal in Tampa before it's too late. Just copy the plans of the build and build it in time for 2028 or 2029

This may be a blessing in disguise. There's absolutely nothing stopping the announcement of a stadium in Tampa this summer if everyone starts working things out after Thanksgiving. I already didn't like that they were building next to the ballpark no one visits.

Just get it done

This is gonna be fun

Actually there is an option B I didn't think of. Tropicana Field can just get torn down and the Rays play at Steinbrenner until the new stadium is done. If that isn't good enough then just build in Tampa.

How much more of this shit does the front office have to see before telling Bowles to pack his shit. This team is never winning a damn thing with this so called defensive specialist at the helm.

Great, so the Bucs get lucky as **** against a bottom 5 team in the league after playing appalling football all game, and now people will act like they're fine lol.

They're fine.
Just like the Bolts

:baghead:

In seriousness yeah they suck but they've been insanely fortunate in the standings.

I don't hate Baker but he is on my LAST damn nerve. This shit wasn't okay when Winston did it every week and its not okay now. Knock that dumb shit off. Anyone else but these bottom feeders would have dusted us these last few weeks

Another poor game overall against a very bad team. The final score wasn't even close to how the game was played. The o-line, run defense (against the worst rushing attack in the league), and Mayfield all looked bad for large parts of the game. Atlanta has once again imploded, so the Bucs have a shot, but this team is nowhere near a contender.

Great start and end but the middle was dreadful. Maybe they play up to the competition against the Chargers because they're just not consistently sharp lately.

I fully expect us to. This Bucs team more than any team I think I have ever seen in sports just plays up and down to everyone they face and it turns into this heart attack back and forth. Got a team like the Chiefs? With a little luck and we would win. Got the Panthers? With a little luck and we are lucky to win at all. Those Rays teams of the mid 2010s did this too and it drove me friggin mad but not to this extent

There's the classic play up to the competition. Hopefully they fear the Cowboys enough to curb stomp them too
