Post-Game Talk: Bruins @ Rangers: Game ThrLOLee

regarding some of the posts in the other thread.

I would give these guys the credit they are due when they give me reason to do it.

Yes I am critical, yes I am nasty. I expect more from these guys.

Not sure about you guys but I can't watch the team I root for get out played and out coached game in and game out save one game here and there and think "Boy am I lucky"

What we are seeing is a ****ing embarrassment to the ****ing jersey.

The ONLY guy I am proud of is Hank. That's it.

I'm disgusted with the current product and the guy driving the bus.

It's a poorly constructed team being coached incorrectly but WOOOOHHOOOOOOO we made the 2nd round just to get swept.

I could care about wins and losses. I want a team that doesn't have to rely on the goalie to be in a game. I want a real shot to win games offensively and if at the end of the day we put in an honest and lose...so be it.

What we have now is we have to hope we play lights out and the opposing team sucks or that Lundqvist steals games.

That's not the kind of team I want to root for.

Meh.

Not that mad to be honest.

Didn't expect a cup this year. Especially with all the turnover and Tortorella still occupying our bench.

Get this team a new coach, try to add a top-6 forward, DO NOT TURNOVER THE ROSTER, and let the team develop. I think that really is a problem, look at teams like LA and Boston. They are cohesive teams that play the system to a tee. This team is just a jumbled mess, these players LOOK like they're barely played together, or they've barely played the system Tortorella has in place.

We have a good core. They need to add the right complimentary pieces.

The only way I support a coaching change is if the coach is actually a better fit for the team and a better coach. Otherwise, we need to keep Torts.

To me, the main problem is Sather, but I've said that for years now. I am happy that he can make good trades, but he refuses to build a team. Just look at my signature for my views on him (as expressed by others).

Nash, Brassard, Moore, Stralman, Dorsett..... Cbus couldn't win with them, can the Rangers?

Team is playing like they don't care. Torts has lost the team.

I think they are broken down. Even with a shortened season, look what Torts system does to it's players. They're beaten, they're worn out; add in the ineptitude on offense, game over, man.

Did anyone notice how Pierre ripped Torts pretty bad during the second power play and about a minute after his rant Pierre realized what he had done and tried to shift responsibility to the players and mentioned that lame excuse about how Torts once coached a good power play in Buffalo? I thought that whole series of comments was hilarious.

Yeah, that was great. It was as if Pierre ripped the PP, then someone came up and told him to stop, so he started slowly backing up on everything. He was right the first time though - he can be too much sometimes but he was right about the PP.

Not really..Boston has added to that pit...We havent played well...But Boston has been dominant. They control every aspect of the game. And i mean every aspect. Only thing that keeps us in games is Lundy. Bar none.

Exactly! Imagine when the team finally clicks together, Boston is bound to fall back down to earth. LGR.

Normally I'd consider myself an optimist but for ****s sake.

This team barely gives me reason to believe, even in wins! Just not our year. Sigh.

Weird game, indeed. There were maybe 3 or 4 shifts the entire game where the Rangers had noteworthy offensive pressure. Against a team whose defensive corps are decimated with injury. Guys standing around. Zero interest in skating the puck into the zone. What good does dumping the puck in do when the forwards are competely still at the blueline? And that powerplay...

The Bruins are a built better, and coached better. But that was an ambomination of an effort and gameplan.

Can't wait to watch Gilroy or the Hamr Thursday night if Stralman is out, which I'm sure he will be.

No worries guys. Only your season on the line. Just sit back and relax, what could possibly go wrong? One team tries to win and the other just tries not to lose. I'll let you figure out which one the Rangers are.

Im watching kings vs SanJose...Now this is exciting hockey..Rangers are over matched...and boring as heck.

Everyone needs to calm the **** down an listen to this man.

He has the right words.

Torts isn't to blame for Brad Richards and Rick Nash being unable to produce in the playoffs.

If Torts has to go to do something, sure. But **** the big names on this team, besides Hank of course. Absolutely useless.

Thank God someone around here has some common sense. Our roster doesn't come close to matching up with the Bruins and their players are so much bigger and more physical than ours are. A total mismatch!

I just hope Strahlman and Kreider are ok. Like not even for this season, but for their careers.

Please scratch Richards and play Lindberg on Thursday night. There's nothing to lose. Lindberg is done with his SEL and Team Sweden commitments.

Torts can't adjust. He's done all he can here.

you know, seriously, I'm getting sick and tired of people saying stuff like this.

What exactly would YOU do to coach these guys better?

It's so beyond ridiculous to say "completely out coached"

Really? I didn't realize coaching coudl turn a 7 million dollar center whose entire career had been elite but now is a complete bum back into his normal self....

I didn't realize coaching could somehow figure out how to get Rick Nash to score when matched up against the best defensive defenseman of our generation....and one of the best of all time.

The Rangers have lost 2 games by 1 goal, are in the 2nd round of the playoffs...again....

if he's being completely outcoached, that means there are 22 REALLY stupid coaches in the NHL right now.

Completely agreed. Tortorella does a lot of dumb ****, but this loss was on our Pejorative Slured group of players.

Rangers are so soft on the puck it's not even funny. Old man Jagr is harder on the puck than any player on this team.

Outmuscled, outbattled, undersized. And players who do have size like Nash, Boyle, and Kreider play smaller than they are. Awful.

He could start by actually coaching a PP that functions.

His decision to play a shell-like turtle of a D system giving up tons of possession to the opp in our own zone.... Which is killing us

Improve the powerplay or play some offense. Honestly, i'm just sick of the dumbass dumping and chasing stone age hockey the Rangers have been playing.
