Not that mad to be honest.

Didn't expect a cup this year. Especially with all the turnover and Tortorella still occupying our bench.

Get this team a new coach, try to add a top-6 forward, DO NOT TURNOVER THE ROSTER, and let the team develop. I think that really is a problem, look at teams like LA and Boston. They are cohesive teams that play the system to a tee. This team is just a jumbled mess, these players LOOK like they're barely played together, or they've barely played the system Tortorella has in place.

Torts isn't to blame for Brad Richards and Rick Nash being unable to produce in the playoffs.

If Torts has to go to do something, sure. But **** the big names on this team, besides Hank of course. Absolutely useless.

Lost the battle and the war tonight. Zero reason to bring Richards back to watch him retire for another year on the 4th line, just give him his money, and let him go somewhere else.

I agree. He isn't going to get any better. The missing link to our championship run is just flat out missing in action.

I think we all expected when Richards was signed we weren't going to get 9 soild years out of him, but I expected at least 4 decent years, maybe MAYBE 5. We barely got one.

This is worse than Drury. This is worse than Redden for Christ sake.

I posted this in the series thread and I'll post the same thing here because it's how I feel..

Congratulations Boston. That just about sums up the series.

Tortorella was out coached in every respect. He had his team down 2-0, in an elimination game, provide no effort.

The Bruins got one of the most fortuitous bounces I have ever seen to score that goal, but they DESERVED it. This game was Lundqvist vs the Bruins.

Lundqvist played a soft game two, but he gave the Rangers a chance, and Tortorella had the team play turtle defense with a 1-0 lead for the entire second half of the game.

Tortorella is the reason this team lost tonight. Julien has out coached him in every respect. This team won't win with this coach at the helm of the ship.

Scotty Bowman could coach this team of misfits and Boston would still steamroll us! Time to wake up, smell the coffee and put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the senile old man who put this roster together!

Yep. Looked like everyone on the ice thought the puck was in and hesitated for a second. And a second is all it took for the Burins to regain the puck and put it in.

Rangers are missing that hunger from last season. Last year they went for pucks like their lives depended on it. This year they seem to hesitate a little, like they're unsure of what they're doing. That's what is costing the team right now.

Yea obviously we're not blaming Hank for the loss but it looked like he had enough time to find the puck based on his outstanding play in his career. The Bruin celebrating the goal in front of him probably made him think it was in too.

have to agree with you man. sather ****ed this team up big time trading for nash and he never fully recovered. we have very little toughness, less skill, and we are being beaten by a bigger tougher, deeper team.

if anybody really thought the rangers were going deep into the playoffs, they know nothing about what kind of team it takes to win a stanley cup.

I feel really bad for lundqvist..... at least hes playing like an all world goaltender.....keeping his team in every single game.

I'm upset. Not because I thought the Rangers would definitely beat the Bruins, but I'm upset they didn't put in the effort. There was no heart. I'm not sure if it was Callahan, or if it's even fair to place that kind of responsibility on the team captain, but I know a big part of it was Tortorella.

At least in our poor games against the Capitals, I can say they outclassed us, but we tried. In this game, they didn't even show up in a do or die game on home ice. That's very upsetting.

Not really..Boston has added to that pit...We havent played well...But Boston has been dominant. They control every aspect of the game. And i mean every aspect. Only thing that keeps us in games is Lundy. Bar none.

Did anyone notice how Pierre ripped Torts pretty bad during the second power play and about a minute after his rant Pierre realized what he had done and tried to shift responsibility to the players and mentioned that lame excuse about how Torts once coached a good power play in Buffalo? I thought that whole series of comments was hilarious.

Really? I didn't realize coaching coudl turn a 7 million dollar center whose entire career had been elite but now is a complete bum back into his normal self....

I didn't realize coaching could somehow figure out how to get Rick Nash to score when matched up against the best defensive defenseman of our generation....and one of the best of all time.

The Rangers have lost 2 games by 1 goal, are in the 2nd round of the playoffs...again....

if he's being completely outcoached, that means there are 22 REALLY stupid coaches in the NHL right now.

Considering the disappearng acts of Callahan, Nash and Richards and zero contributions from Clowe and Staal, making the 2nd round is quite an accomplishment.

We are the perfect foils for the Bruins to run roughshod over!

Soooo the fact that the rangers have an absolutely terrible powerplay isn't a coaching problem?? or the fact that the rangers have a terrible breakout?
