Believe he was interested and that particular Development camp where I was able to watch him for 5 days I thought he was as good as Locmelis and Jellvik but in a different way,he was more cerebral
Anyway, he'll probably be a hot commodity in the Euro free agent pool this year

I will agree it was baffling.

That said no one know his strengths and weaknesses better than they did. No one scouted him more than they did. And honestly no other NHL team made a move and offered them a 7th for his rights (assumption, but as they had no intent of signing him, sees a safe assumption)

He's having a better year points wise this season compared to last
I remember Langenbrunner saying that he(Mantykivi) was already playing top 6 minutes in Finland and Providence probably couldn't match it at that point in time

Dyck with that award is great.I remember him at under 18s I believe it was and I never saw a goalie out side Hardy Astrom have so much net showing behind him.Guess he has improved lol I try not to comment on goalies having never played that spot outside ball hockey It's a tough position I admit.
