That goal by Ryan Fitzgerald was sick. Pretty cool getting to watch a couple of future Bruins face off in Folin and Fitzy.

Could tell you, but then would have to kill you

I don't understand why Flyer's fans think it's such a lock? A lock like TVR signing with TOR?

We don't. Obviously I can't speak for the entire fanbase, but I haven't seen anyone say that he's a lock. I think most fans think we're a good fit (decent team that still could use help on the backend, with deep pockets to pay him well if he delivers) but he's certainly not a lock to sign.

Any body can confirm if Frolin will be signing with any soon? ps what is Oasis that you are talking about.

It's like hockey version of Skulls and Bones- I think George Bush is a member.

Hello Bruins fans:

Jets fan here, Hutchinson is very likely to get his first game in tomorrow against the Leafs. It's been a bit of a rumor, supposedly he was all smiles yesterday(Thursday). To me that indicates he was told he will get the start on Saturday close to his family.

edit:

With Pasquale out for the season and Montoya likely the same, Hutch is by far the best pro goalie in our system right now.

Saying Hutchinson is all smiles is like saying water is wet.

Guy is without a doubt the most upbeat goalie I have covered in my 14+ years.

Just an affable, decent person whose sunny disposition masked a fierce competitiveness. No room at the inn for him in Boston, but Winnipeg might make a little hay with him. They also signed Connor Hellebuyck today. Interesting...I think they're sick of Ondrej Pavelec's inconsistency and injury issues.

Just told my daughter Hutch is playing gold and you'd think he was a family member.

Hellebuyck seriously has the potential to be a top goalie in the league.

I think they need to bite the bullet and buy him out this summer. He can be brilliant at times, but doesn't have the consistency to be a #1 and doesn't have the cap hit to allow him to be a backup either.

How is Linus Arnesson progressing?

He was one of the top shutdown-D on his team for most of the season. Scratched for the last two games of the SHL qualifying series (they are now qualified for SHL). Not sure if there was an injury or not.
I'm happy with his season even if I'd like to see him join the rush more. With his good (IMO) hands and vision would probably produce more in a different role. Keep in mind D-coach Stefan Nyman runs a very strict system.
Should add strength in the offseason and be a little tougher on the next level. He'll need it whether it's in the AHL or SHL.

I don't see a draft thread but Central Scouting is out with its final list today.

I like the sound of this guy in the story:

The player given the biggest promotion in the early rounds is No. 39 Hunter Smith, a 6-6, 208-pound right wing from the Generals. Ranked 140th on Central Scouting's midterm release, Smith had 16 goals (seven power-play goals) and 40 points in 64 regular season games.

"He's made himself into a player," Edwards said of Smith. "He came into the league as a role-type of player and worked hard to develop his skill set. He's one of the toughest guys in the league but complements that with good puck-handling and passing ability. Big guys who are tough and skilled are very valuable in the NHL."
