Here's video of Carlo's injury ... bad LBI ...

Yikes. I thought for a sec there it was like a Gordon Hayward nasty leg injury. But the way he hopped onto the stretcher, doesnt seem it was as brutal

Definitely sprained or worse tore something

What actually caused his leg to twist like that though? Rut in the ice?
Carlo tried to kick the puck up to the point with his right leg, but he missed and twisted his left leg as a result. It also wasn't helping that Barkov clamped down on Carlo's stick under his armpit. He had to kick at the puck, because his stick wasn't available.

That looked really bad, be lucky to be a sprain but we can only hope. Kid was playing great, getting his groove for sure.

I thought for sure Carlo was done for yr but after listening to Cassidy I have some real hope it isn't that bad . Cassidy didn't say much about it but if you read between his words I think he would be surprised if it is real serious surgery stuff.

Hope you’re right,if you are I will be calling Carlo Gumby, because man nobody’s leg should bend like that without doing some serious damage.

It’s is an injury thread, speculation is all we really have,ok than he has a lower body injury.

And that’s all we’re gonna have until we hear exactly what happened from the Boston Bruins.

Speculation.

I honestly don’t mind people posting about what they think may have happened (I did earlier too with the qualifier I don’t know) but all of a sudden people are posting things as gospel but in reality they are nothing but guesses.

No doctor worth their degree would guess what happened to Brandon Carlo today without knowing all the facts.

So everything being posted here in absolutes as “he broke this” or “it’s a torn that” means nothing at all

Hell create a thread with a poll if you want to play pin the tail on the donkey

Based on twitter talk from John Shannon of Sportsnet, this is a very serious injury, and Carlo is done for the season.

And he might be 100% right. But until the Bruins release a statement I don’t believe what anyone tweets or writes or guesses
