I am very very okay with Bergeron spending some time with the Providence guys and taking his time to come back. Maybe even do a conditioning stint down there. Bruins are handling business without him right now, everyone in Providence would benefit from playing a game with him, and he'd have a chance to get back to speed.
that is the best thing now practicing with the baby Bs see you soon Bergy!!

Just to clarify current Bruins injury status:

#1 C - Bergeron
#1 RW - Bjork (at start of season)
#2 LW - DeBrusk
#2 RW - Nash (top deadline acquisition)
#3 RW/backup C - Backes
#1 LD - Chara
#1 RD - McAvoy
#2 LD - Krug

Providence:
#2C - JFK (would have been perfect Bergeron/Backes call-up)
#2LW - Cehlarik (top wing call-up)

At the start of the STL game, I thought it ironic Krejci is the one healthy guy and then he gets head shot so next game might see the #2C added to this list.

2 and a half weeks for the infirmary to heal up, seems like a reasonable amount of time.

The problem is we're losing more players daily, this compact schedule can f*** itself lol

Haggerty was on Toucher and Rich this morning and said if he were worried about any guy in particular being ready for the playoffs it would be DeBrusk... and that the start of the playoffs coincided with the very early (optimistic) end of his recovery table. He also said his feeling was that the Donato signing was to directly replace DeBrusk if he is not in the line-up come playoffs.

Even getting something like Nash, Backes, Krug back would make a huge difference!

At least for DeBrusk it couldnt get any worse than this : Bruins Prospect Detailing His Horrific Testicle Injury Will Make You Grab Your Balls In Fear While Crying

Wouldn't be surprised if Krejci is out a while. He probably shouldn't have been allowed to finish the game. Marchand also could use a game off. He's been getting tossed around too much lately. It'll be interesting to see how quickly Krug comes back from possible concussion suffered in previous game.

At minimum Krejci will probably have a pretty stiff neck today.

Cehlrik should be up now if hes healthy.
Gionta is half dead out there

3rd line's been half dead a few games now. Injuries are hurting Gionta's production. He had 6 pts his 1st 5 games and 0 past 6 games. Has everything to do with him and his linemates. That puts pressure on top line as they all played 20 minutes last night. Nash played over 43 minutes combined his last 2 games. Our top line wont be what we need in playoffs if they continue playing this much every 2nd night and they're too close for more injuries. They have to be tired and it's concerning!

We had same problem last season and all those injuries is what stopped us from taking out Ottawa and we all know how far they went!! Playing every 2nd night for practically 2 months isnt fair to any team, especially this time of year when no other team has to do it. Bruins were 31st in the league all season with games played. And now they're paying for it, look at all those injuries...League had it planned out well last year, maybe again this year..Really gets under my skin..I'm so tired of Boston always getting the crappy end of the stick..Schenn should of got a major on the Krejci hit. If that was a Bruin making that hit, we all know what would happen cause it already did with Backes.. Sorry for changing subject, I get so mad thinking about it.

I mean, when he first started playing, he was a fill in with Nash and Heinen on the third line. Lately he's been on a line of all fill ins. Makes a difference. He can be useful stepping in, but can't be expected to carry Wingels and Swarz/Blidh.

You would think Lou Lamorello ran this team the way information is spewing out.
No one knows how Rick Nash was hurt or when.
McAvoy injury is starting to be bothersome - he may not make it back. Don't ask me for a source because none exists.
Chara has been day to day for what weeks??? Seems like it. I can't confirm this though.
When did we play Carolina again?

I almost feel like we should pull Marchand, Krejci and Pastrnak out untill the team is healthy. Just play Providence guys and we will take our chances with the Leafs.

Just to make a note on McAvoy: they said he'd be re-evaluated after 4 weeks. Saturday will be 3 weeks since the injury. Nothing about his situation should be any more concerning than it was 3 weeks ago

Don't forget McQuaid playing through injury.

Never really heard what happened to Rick Nash aside from upper body. So he take a puck in practice or something? Has there been any reports?
Cassidy said that Nash's injury is due to a hit during the Tampa Bay game on Mar 17.
