I don't see why people are enamored with Buch... He's bleh

I was always impressed by skills he has showed. Maybe my expectations were high, but I have never been one who got cranked by his being benched, always saw why it was deserved.
He has improved, so once again revisiting my expectations (just mine, nothing to do with where he was drafted) I now see him as a different asset, no longer a 'prospect' where you don't know where he might end up. I think we see where he will end up. Not blaming anybody, just saying my view may have been wrong. Still think he could be more than he is, but ... ?

Extremely poor depth scoring for sure. Could use Hayes+Zucc lol.

The funny thing is that you’re a big fan of DeAngelo, a player who actually has the talent to be a top defenseman.

Yea, I never said he can’t be a top pairing defenseman. It’s just that Skjei is a safer bet, and he has one full successful season under his belt already. I still think DeAngelo is our best defenseman, but I’m a little worried that he’s going to be his own worst enemy, and that he might never reach his highest potential because of that. Still, I think he’s the most talented one we have.

I’m pretty sure both you and I foresaw this with Mika when we got him. Frankly, I just want another high end center to slot in behind Zibanejad. Kreider, Chytil and Kravtsov are perfect wingers to fill out the top six. If Gorton wants to speed up the rebuild, he needs to trade for young top end Dmen ready to step into the lineup.

I’d liked Zibanejad since his draft year, the total package is phenomenal

Chytil need to skate faster there to avoid the icing - it was like 50% pace acceleration instead going out 120% to avoid it.
