Like Orlov, not a fan of Hathaway. He's Marchand 7 years ago without the offensive upside. He better lay off the stupid penalties. Draft day is going to be boring but that's ok, for this year at least.

This is amazing.
We just added a legit, talented, 2-way, physical d-man to an already stud group of D.
We added a player who we hate playing against, the same way people hate playing against Marchand. But now he is on our side. I can't stand playing against Hathaway, but we need more of that sandpaper on this team.

Total win. Team is stacked.

I’ll take it a step further, I really really dislike Hathaway. Maybe he’ll grow in me as a Bruin but I highly doubt it. He’s dirty

Ehhh ... Hathaway? Gross. Suprised that so many here are happy getting him. For me it always seemed that he is a spot picker and did a lot of stupid and dirty stuff that hurts his team more than it was usefull. I also believe he is one of the most disliked player of the league in the Bruins locker room after all what happened between him and them in the last years. Can someone win me over?

Orlov is a great addition to the top four. The defense surely got better. Ironically I first remembered him concussing Miller and basically ending his career. I wanted someone to take his head off but I guess its all good now. I hope his health holds up as he missed some games this year with a lower body injury.

Personally I still would like to see an upgrade on the fourth line center spot. I also would liked to get a player like Barbashev to the third line to upgrade the offense a little bit but I guess they are good with Frederic there right now after his recent play. From the comments of Sweeney it really sounds like they are done dealing. With the picks they paid they are also basically are as most of the valuable draft picks from this and next year (except the first '24) are gone or they will have to use on of their better prospects for another deal.

A lot of draft capital but really like the move, especially with the reported ask for Gavrikov. Will love the move if they find a way to re-sign Orlov, the way Don has approached the past few deadlines I assume that’s his plan somehow someway.

Hathaway is a good depth add, don’t really care about his past with the Bruins, he’s a dirty player, we’ve had dirty players here before and the fanbase loved them. Bruins could use some more pricks on the ice not everyone has to be a saint.

Orlov is very good pick up. He has the potential to influence the game more than Gavrikov would. Bruins now arguably have best backend in NHL. I wonder if Sweeney is done making moves or if he will try to flip a roster player still.

Not a fan of Hathaway, even if he wears the B but this is strictly subjective to me. I never cared for players whose only purpose and talent is to try to attempt to physically injure people and put their gloves into faces after whistle. Objectively however, that move also makes the Bruins harder to play against.

Orlov tough to play against, mobile, plenty of experience, Cup winner already, true vet d man. D is deep.

Hathaway, nice little addition, heavy on forecheck, hits, nasty. Atlantic division forwards will love to play against him.
