i made a joke that we'd trade boeser for centre help in the boeser thread earlier. it's enough we lost forsling for clendening. but with Benning at the helm, i'm always on tenterhooks.

I could see him dumping Vrbata or Higgins for defense help. Maybe a AHL prospect like Jensen/Gaunce as a sweetener(not sure Jensen counts).

This is one of those times where analytics and his contract v production doesn't justify keeping him. He's clearly past it, doesn't have the legs that made him effective as a player they could move up and down the lineup.

Still though, I could name like nearly ten players I'd move before him which speaks to the teams current level.
