This is amazing news. Hall and Bertuzzi on that 3rd line with Coyle is a whole new monster. That's a solid 2nd line on most teams with a former MVP and a 30 goal scorer as of last year on it. Great news on Foligno too expected to be back for the playoffs.
Where did you see Foligno expected to be back for playoffs I respectfully ask ? I read he was seen wearing substantial leg brace.z NM see Monty quote above.

I'm confused here.

KDP states he's going to be practicing and will return at end of upcoming 5 game road trip, which ends March 19th.

Monty then says both him and Foligno are targeting playoffs.

Me too, Monty's statement came first, but I trust KPD. The real question is what kind of lower body injury allows him to practice at a moment's notice, requires a second opinion, but still heals with time?

Second opinion could be "will I mess it up more" by playing through it type of thing.

Coyle has better hands than Frederic and has better stick skills. I don't understand where you are getting this idea?
I agree Frederic is getting to the right places and finishing better. I think he gets involved on the boards and forecheck. Just never watched him play and thought of him as the playmaker. That may be in his future.

Coyle would rather cycle around the offensive zone for 30 seconds before he attempts a pass.

Freddy is a sweet passer and seems to have a better head for the game. I just feel he would be a better fit, that's all

I'm not sure what to believe regarding Hall and Foligno returning...but I LOVE hearing positive rumours/reports. I really hope we get a chance to see our regular guys back, mixed in with the new trade additions. Such an amazingly deep lineup... Stay healthy guys!
