they said it wasnt serious because revealing that puts donny in a bad position for trades

it's funny because i never would have thought Id say this but, im hoping we get foligno back over hall if one is more likely to return than the other. I think Hall's impact is a bit easier to replace on the third line than Foligno's presence on and off the ice has been this year
True. Hopefully with the timing of the trade today and deadline tomorrow that maybe one of these is at least not as serious as reported and a cap circumvention move

I hate that two core pieces are injured

that said this season isn' t about winning a round ....I would think the current lineup minus Hall and Foligno is good enough to advance....which means both have until early May and the start of round two to recover....depending on the severity of the injuries that is a good chunk of recovery time for a lot of injuries

if it's surgery for an acl tear, that's not good. We wont see him until next season

I really don't know what it could be though. If it's wrist hand or arm related, he could theoretically come back mid may

Hall or Foligno maybe coming back in rd 2 is in now way comparable to TPA and Kucherov, that was downright criminal. He was practicing for like a month before game 1. gong show

I was ready to jump all over this post, but…idk man, you just might be right.

But is that like “before the playoffs soon” or is it “round 2 soon” or maybe even “summer soon”?

What is soon?!

Maybe MCL tear I think Hall had that before

I would lay my salary on us seeing both Hallsy and Foligno come playoff time
More confident on Hall, I think he's been playing through an upper body injury. Can't see either one opting for surgery unless their are no other options.

Losing Hall sucks, but at least we replaced his offensive presence with Bertuzzi.

I hate, hate HATE losing Foligno for potentially the rest of the year. His revamped play and better health was one of the biggest reasons for the bottom 6 scoring depth and his glue guy, leader personality was big in the room. The Bruins will miss him if he's out for an extended time.

Don't like this babe. Don't like it at all. I need clarification. Are we talking playoff returns or....summer offseason stuff.

Hoping for the best for them both. Especially, Uncle Nick who came into this season as an unknown and really turned it around

Its rough because we know what his game is like when he's not 100% - we saw it last year.

There's certainly no need to rush either of em back

Its hard for me to believe that by when 2nd round starts which is like end of April or something that they dont comeback.
I mean if they need surgery, that can be several months of rehab.

I hope they're just being overly safe given we're already down at LW. At least of it's bad, Sweeney has time to flip the 2026 1st for a replacement lol.

I think in the playoffs it would be a closer call. I think Hall, like DK, wakes up for them.
