Poitras is the key to the season imo. We need a dose of high end skill and he can provide it. Doesn't matter what line he is on to me as long as the pieces click.
Correct. So in a case like that, does Coyle get the +1 on his +/- since he was technically on the ice for Poitras a second before the goal occurred even though Potsie was the one who set up the play?
Rebel Yell has the same refrain but Andrea True Connection did the song titled More more more.Thought that was Billy Idol.
Marchand-Poitras-Frederic
Geekie-Coyle-Brazeau
Make an almost perfection line of 63-28-88Last thought before moving on ... whatever the line combinations end up being - at the very least, separate Marchand from Coyle.
I can't help but feel Marchand's production is being hindered with Coyle as his center.
Marchand deserves to play with a center that has natural offensive creativity.
As others also have stated I too would like to see
Marchand Poitras Frederic ... for at least five games to see what would come of it.
I don't care if it is called the 2nd or 3rd line as long as the player combinations work; deployment and how the lines are used is up to the coach.
Please say you are not comparing Pasta to Bobby Orr in his impact?Anybody who shits on Pasta hasn’t watched enough hockey to know how extremely rare it is to have a Bobby Orr come along the pike.
Also the kind of person who would complain about a 78 degree sunny day because they really prefer 77 sunny days.
He probably is, and to call out posters to boot. lolPlease say you are not comparing Pasta to Bobby Orr in his impact?
Correct.
Most of today's players would have to change their game to play in the 70s.He probably is, and to call out posters to boot. lol
Can you imagine Pasta playing in the 70"s? That would be hilarious.
I don't think he is saying that at all. Please say you are not comparing Pasta to Bobby Orr in his impact?
He creates scoring chances for his team almost every shift. He reminds of a Marner/Backstrom style player minus the scoring touch those two had. He really needs a good finisher or you are wasting his natural talents and vision on the ice. Coyle needs to go to the 3rd line, where he dominates.Poitras is the key to the season imo. We need a dose of high end skill and he can provide it. Doesn't matter what line he is on to me as long as the pieces click.
And in the meantime he's on pace for 82 goals.Pasta will get his game together. Always does
He has not played well. He keeps playing like this he will cost us games. I know he is better than how he has played. He will get it together. And in the meantime he's on pace for 82 goals.
Most of today's players would be dead or crippled if they played in the 70's or 80s. I'd love to see Matt Tkachuk play in the 70s. Imagine inviting someone to drop the gloves and then skate away? Most of today's players would have to change their game to play in the 70s.
Yeah, that wasn't sarcasm. I agree. But it is nice when you don't play well and still score in every game.He has not played well. He keeps playing like this he will cost us games. I know he is better than how he has played. He will get it together.
Actually, Frederic can play all three forward positions, but has been used primarily on the left. Heck, no one though DeBrusk could play right wing, but he did.Frederic isn't a RW, Geekie isn't a LW.

Come on man. Who on earth would suggest that? Please say you are not comparing Pasta to Bobby Orr in his impact?
Thanks Dom. You read my post exactly how I intended.I don't think he is saying that at all.
Could be that I am reading it entirely wrong though.
