Why are some of the swedes so cruel against Finland? I think the whole thing started from when Swedes complained about the refs and Finns told them they're not good enough to win it.

It's great to win a bronze medal, don't try to downplay it. Always better to end the tournament after a win and with a medal. Everyone who will try to search for history of this tournament will see that USA won bronze this year and that's it.

I have always keep Swedish as a fighters, never give up mentality. This Swedish team was gutless and heartless. I feel sorry for these guys and why they give up so easily. Medal is medal.

I can understand the frustration of not competing for gold, same thing happened with US vs. Finland at the Olympics. It may be poor sportsmanship but some teams really do have a gold or bust mentality in a given year.

Frankly, the U.S. hockey team has been so unimpressive on the Olympic stage that they should be thrilled to get the chance to compete for bronze.

Everybody remember these are young athletes. Sometimes young age shows up like this. Not the greatest effort to start with form either of the teams. Then the other one somehow realize they'd rather win this and gets a good lead and the other team just goes totally flat.

I believe in the end the both teams and their individuals can take home something valuable from this experience.

Many of the Swedish forwards were forechecking well, but seemed disinterested in getting back into the defensive zone. Goalie was left out to dry in the wind by the defense. Defense was soft and gutless in their own end.
