Hellebuyck was a wall.

Loving the Jets helmet. :naughty:

its pretty slick. will need an update now with the icecaps becoming the moose. BUT hopefully he will just need the Jets logo and no AHL logo

I was really hoping for a much closer game

Yes, czechs completely outplayed the US, but totally uninteresting as they can´t put the puck into the net.

I don´t want to start like the finish fans but extremely unlucky also! They got a goal disallowed yesterday for being in the crease and today USA scored with much more significant player in the crease. Then it´s suddenly a good goal!
Also today when Kolar finnaly beat the goalie then it´s on the bar.
But you also earn your fortune, but still very bad with the referees.

True but it is time to say goodbye to Ruzicka. The whole tournament was terribly coached.

And then Hadamczik comes back again??!

Then need to start allover again. I never again want to see Klepis, Erat, Novotny, Nemec, Salak. etc

Congrats usa... Love they put a young team out there with college players and young nhl players... didn't think we stood a good chance to medal when I first saw the lineup but they seemed to gel and because it wasn't a bunch of stats the effort really seemed to be there. They knew they couldn't just put it on cruise control and win the tourny...

Feel bad for the Czechs this medal would have meant so much more for them though....

They got a goal disallowed yesterday for being in the crease and today USA scored with much more significant player in the crease.

Very different today, with the pass (not shot) coming from the side. However, it should have been a good goal yesterday, too.

Hell no. This whole Ruzicka - Hadamczik situation has to stop. We need new blood.

But it seems that not many want that job! Which is very strange as it should be the finest job in hockey, to coach the national team

Yes, he played very well. He wasn't really tested in the first much in terms of quality. The quality chances started with the PPs in the 2nd period.

Completely agree.especially in a first half of the match...such a easy shots from bad positions drove crowd completely crazy....

Congrats to USA.

Btw I was twice in elimination games,twice against USA,twice disaster.Bad karma :)

This is surely very disappointing end to this great tournament for us, no doubt... I feel bad especially for Jagr, Voracek and our fans. It is disgusting how bad is our defense, something needs to happen there. Hertl as healthy scratch was bad decision. He would be good in games against opponents like CAN/USA.

Congrats to USA! Well deserved. Nice young team with a lot of talent, skill and speed. Very likable team.

Now onto the final game! Let's go Canada!

But it really doesn´t matter if it´s a pass or a shot, or both. I mean if you shot for a deflection then?! Then it´s both a pass and a shot so that can´t be the rule!

The rule also refers to "obstructing the view" for the goaltender. You can't be obstructing the goaltender's view if the pass/shot is coming in from the side, so that makes sense. However, "obstructing the view" AND "standing in the crease" wasn't happening simultaneously yesterday, either, at the moment the shot was taken.
