Why in the world would you despise the Americans , lol?

As an American I generally despise Team Canada. Nothing personal or impassioned about it, I just love seeing them lose and hate seeing them win, unless there's a Sabres player on the team in which case I am more neutral. So, it's not hard for me to understand. We're geographical rivals. If he's talking about something beyond hockey that's also easy enough to understand though it's pretty dumb to hate countries and people.

Well, to be honest, out of these options I see improvent over Ruzicka just in Riha, maybe Vujtek.
Vlach could be a good option IMO.

Ruzicka has his flaws (way too much mixing the roster or favoring his favorite players) but I think we're a bit too harsh on him, he's a good coach. Just look at the roster, the biggest problem definitely isn't in coaching. I actually think we played pretty good hockey throughout the tournament in spite of lacking individual skills.
But of course, after 10 years of Ruzicka or Hadamczik it could be refreshing to have a brand new coach.

I didn't mean I despise the individual players on the team, I meant more that I detest Team USA in every international competition due to our rivalry. Maybe I should've made that clearer.

Gritty wins and one hell of a goaltending performance. I'm very satisfied with Bronze.

Anyway, I doubt he's up for another big job with a team where the chances for failure are rather high and where he could become the public enemy as he's probably extremely tired after last two years with Slovakia.

Also, I believe you need a more modern coach who will finally proceed with rebuilding of the NT in a post-apocalyptic post-Jagr era. It won't be easy especially considering the way Czech fans can react to lack of success, but you still have enough talent to build a solid NT.

Well, every coach have his favorite players, it always will be like that and I'm sure if I ask finnish, swedish or russian fans they wouldn't say diferently. Sometimes it's just too much though.

And I agree with you that Vujtek wouldn't want the job nor would be the best option for us. That ship has sailed.

True, but there's a difference between preferring a player over other player who might be somewhat superior to him and stubbornly playing guys where you ask yourself how the hell did they make it to the WC team on the powerplay.

Whoever ends up 6th after the tournament will get the luxury of playing against South Corea at the 2018 Olympics group stage (along with Switzerland, 7th, and whoever ends up 1st (currently Sweden)). It could be that the USA moves past the Czechs.
