Funny to see the "jerks" be so emotional. Wasn't carolina supposed to be a bully of a team? Only to switch to being a bunch sniveling babies.
but it turns out she's not an influence r.If you read more carefully, you’ll notice that I responded only to the logic behind the post I quoted.
I’m multiple degrees of separation from the claim you’re referencing. So no, I don’t particularly feel accountable to provide you with a courtroom defense of a post I didn’t write. If that is very important to you, go find the right person to fulfill your demands.
The context of the "jerks" thing is that Don Cherry called them jerks for celebrating a win, so they leaned into it. No one has ever claimed they were mean or tough, it's actually meant to mock a sniveling baby.Funny to see the "jerks" be so emotional. Wasn't carolina supposed to be a bully of a team? I know I'm late here, but that's the same thing Chicago did to Ottawa when they traded for DeBrincat.Doubt it. Wasn't he blindsided by the trade? I don't think he had any idea it was coming. The canes didn't even talk to him. I actually think Colorado's GM wouldn't let anyone talk to him.
Simple, he was terrible, and they aren’t a contender in any reasonable way. There is no Cup run with a .6ppg rants and three 30 point centres after Aho.I just don’t understand why Carolina would take a futures based package (without immediate deals in place to flip the assets) over keeping Rantanen for a cup run
Not even a little bit WTF. Did you even follow the string of replies you're quoting? I'm very specifically disputing the notion that you guys flipped Rantanen for an even more lucrative package than what you traded to us. That's literally the entire basis for the post you're quoting. I have no interest in rubbing it in your face, but some posters are letting their cope get a little out of hand. You seem completely flabbergasted that we aren’t calling for heads.
That's on the GM. It's his job to make the team better, all the details and excuses are just to soothe someones feelings.Simple, he was terrible, and they aren’t a contender in any reasonable way. There is no Cup run with a .6ppg rants and three 30 point centres after Aho.
Thats the thing everyone needs to understand, the context here is that team isn’t very good, and Rants sucked ass in his stint. They were WORSE post trade.

Is it a superpower to not trade for a pending UFA? There's 31 other GM's in the league who won't do that. Why do you think he wasn't traded sooner? Do we know CAR was even the only team asking? All we know is that they were dumb enough to do the trade regardless.Thats like the third time across multiple topics that you've implied the GM needs to have superpowers. They either need to read minds or see into the future or what have you. Are you OK?

No trade, no problem. The copium is strong in this one.Asking a GM to predict how, exactly, a newly acquired player will perform on their team is asking for a superpower, yes. They can take reasonable guesses, but an exact prediction is superhuman. I don’t imagine anyone expected Rantanen to half-ass his performance in Carolina. So unless you believe Tulsky should be able to see the future, I can’t see how you could reasonably say it’s his fault that adding Rantanen made the team worse. I’m sure you will regardless, because you’ve got some kind of hate boner for him for whatever reason, but that’s a whole different issue.

You're kicking a dead horse. All the players involved are with their new teams, this speculation is just to soothe hurt feelings.Yeah, that’s not addressing anything I said. Which is pretty much what I expected.

You're out to make Rantanen the bad guy, when all the blame lies in an incompetent GM.What speculation? It’s like you’re having a different conversation entirely.
Maybe Rantanen would be a ship sinker on any club he was first traded to be the Avs? He needed to move on. The return for the Canes wasn’t as important as getting Rantanen out of their room? On local sports radio this morning Saravelli said that Brind’smour and Tulsky were tight. And the anger was directed towards Rsntanen. The crazy thing is that, in the time since they got rid of Rantanen, they’ve been a LOT better. Like night-and day.
That shouldn’t happen when trading away one of the top wingers in the league.

The team that literally has had the least amount of fighting majors every year for the last what quarter century is a "bully" team?Funny to see the "jerks" be so emotional. Wasn't carolina supposed to be a bully of a team? Only to switch to being a bunch sniveling babies.
Why do people keep posting this? I checked out her Instagram after everyone said she wants to be some influencer.. and there is like barely any posts on her page. Certainly seems like made up BS from Canes fans.
