Salon double clutched and lost his opportunity. Haven't been overly impressed with his game. Calm, but doesn't dictate play enough for someone as highly as he is.
He’s been kinda meh. Not to mention his man skated past him (as well as LaDue losing the goal scorer in front of the net) on the first Springfield goal.

That PPG was like pulling teeth. Took is a minute and a half of perimeter passing to work the puck inside for Czarnik.

Bad play to get it to the double covered right side, the first shot was garbage but Andreoff retrieved it well and Czarnik found a soft spot and had all day. Nice shot by him.

Hartford lost.

phantoms tied in the 3rd.

bridgeport can clinch a spot if phantoms lose

Might I have to make my first Bridgeport game a playoff game...? :sarcasm:

*A year ago, I did not think the boys in Bridgeport would be playing in the spring of 2022 and the guys from Long Island not.

What a collapse by the Wolf Pack. Only took them 3 months to fall from the top of the division.
Yeah what happened? Did they trade players to different teams? Season ending injuries?

What does this mean for tonight’s game vs Wolfpack? Do the sound tigers rest their guys and play half assed, while Hartford plays hard to end on a good note? What kind of game can we expect tonight?

Happy to see my pessimism proved wrong on the Baby Isles. Playoff experience is a huge plus for our prospects.

So sad about the Baby Rags though. FYI Bobby Trivigno’s stats thus far are 9 games, 0 goals, 2 assists and a minus 5 (+/-). However there’s still room for growth, just not in his 5’ 8” frame. ;)

I didn't follow Hartford other than glancing at the standings. But having seen them twice before February (a win over BPT and an OTL loss to Rochester) there was nothing that ever impressed me about them. Their NYR prospects showed no flashes of talent and their AHL vets sucked. I recall saying that to someone else in this thread and we were all in agreement. We couldn't understand how they were near the top of the division, for what it's worth.

Since it's the last of a B2B and they only have the slimmest of chances of moving up into the 5th spot (win today and losses by Hershey and WBS who have games in hand) I'd say you'll likely see Skarek in goal, Bolduc (who warmed up but didn't dress last night), Mike Cornell to keep watch over everyone lol, maybe Jimmy Lambert make his debut. Hartford is in the middle of a 3 in 3 so those are no picnic either.

I’m not sure how rd1 coincides with the remainder of NYIs season. But can Wahlstrom and Dobson be sent down? If so, do they?
