This club does look very solid.

I guess my only concern is where all the youngsters and newbies are going to get any ice time?

Particularly Newkirk, Adams, Jenkins, Coskey, Bibeau, and maybe even Durandeau look like they're anything but a lock for a spot among the team's top 9 forwards.

There are still plenty of back to backs and some 3 in 3s on the schedule. Playing time works itself out in stretches like that.

Do the Isles still have an ECHL affiliate?

The one they had didn't play last season, if I remember correctly.

Hey there. I follow Slovak players but haven't gotten around to watch any preason games this year. Has Panik really been so bad that no NHL team should've picked up on waivers?

I don't think it's about his quality as a NHL option whatsoever.

It has much more to do with the forward depth in the organization and cap/salary concerns.

The NHL right now is full of such samples.

I liked what I saw but teams would have to commit to another year on him as well.

Trotz is happy he cleared because he wants the depth. I'd put money on Panik playing 30 NHL games this year. Of course we could be ridiculously lucky with injuries too but

Not at all. I thought Panik was fine. He skates really well. The trouble is he has to unseat Leo Komarov who is popular with his teammates and the coach. It may happen later in the season, we’ll see.

Went to the game and still have no idea how they didn't win, should've been up at least 3 after the first. The first Puke goal was Carter Hutton level terrible.

Last night there has been no line-up out earlier. Today we have an assumption:

Bridgeport line-up tonight, we are currently tied 3-3. Anatolii Golyshev with his first in NA tied it!!! :)
Dal Goal (PP) scored the 2-2.
Andreoff (PP) tied it at 1-1.

We lost 3-4 in SO, Skarek looked like a pylon on deciding penalty shot....
