4th line - ?? - Casey - ??

Pelech - Dobson

Anyone else think it's a bummer that there aren't BPort highlights for every game?

What's up with that?

Not at the BPort site. Not at the AHL site.

And when there are highlights, they are sometimes terribly cut and edited.

It's a minor league operation.

Literally.

It’s trade Bailey for D help time. The difference between Golyshev, Panik, Bellows, Holmstrom…Komarov even can’t be as great as Chara and an actual top 4 D. I’m not a Bailey hater, but I don’t see any other chip that we have right now

Decided to take the ride up to Bridgeport. Salo, Bolduc, Golyshev, Holmstrom dressed tonight. Corey Schneider gets the start.

Leo, Hickey, Dal Colle, Wotherspoon, Kubiak are the scratches.

I don’t usually take warmups as a serious indicator but the team looked dead on their feet.

Springfield got 2 quick ones. One on review at 42 seconds and another that Scnhneider will want back a 20 seconds later.

3-0 Springfield at 4:29.

B-Isles are not skating, not covering anybody in front of their net.

Bailey will still be on the team after all of those guys are gone, much to the chagrin of many here.

This one looks like a 1st place team playing a last place team. Which is where Bridgeport is going to be by next weekend. Last place.

Your right he really has no spot, I wonder if Bellows or Johnston ever get waived to get some time in Ahl and if at that point he could come up to be an extra.
I hope no decision on Golyshev is based on tonight. He was dreadful. The entire team was dreadful.

This is my first look at Golyshev in a game. I don't think he's the 5'8" he's listed at. Looks like he's shorter than Johnny Gaudreau by a lot. My 2 snap judgements on his game tonight. 1) Golyshev is willing to go to the dirty areas to receive the puck. He plays between the hash marks and doesn't mind paying a price. 2) Golyshev can't defend in his own end. I can't see him winning 50/50s for the puck or being able to clear NHLers from around the net.

Again this game is not the one to make judgements on players because the entire BPI team stunk. Just my 2 cents.

Lou must really feel confident in Brent Thompson’s development abilities to keep him because lord knows the team just does not win under that guy.

Now it might be time to pull the plug on Thompson. He was given a better roster this year and the team still doesn't play well. I saw some dumb mistakes yesterday, not all from our prospect, but from some AHL vets too.

Didn't the Isles already drop their assistant coaches and bring in the former Devils minor league head coach as their replacement. Not sure how common IN-SEASON coaching changes are in the AHL. But everything seemingly points to him being on the hot seat for this season.

Other than a coach getting promoted, I dob’t think it’s that common, especially only a few games into a season.
