Just like getting on Domi after 4 games was ludicrous, so is getting on Samsonov after 4 games. He will be fine.
sure counting on it - but he needs to fix something and can't have him throwing every game into the trash can. Needs to sit watch and work on his game in practice

I mean the first one was PP with a perfect shot from Kuch, far side just over the pad foot and half off the ice, that a goal scorers goals. The second one, the Leafs should have been fine on numbers, but JT and I think Brodie both bit on a drop pass off the entry and let a guy go clear to the front to split the wickets on a cross ice feed, and yes you’d want the save on number three but again, PP cross ice pass labelled top corner from Kuch. Hung out to dry.
He moved in slow motion on the 3rd goal. Even Kyle Clifford would have clapped a one timer into the net there. We all knew it was 3-1 before the puck even got to Kucherov.

Okay... so your point is....
His point is at some point Mitch Marner personally drove to his house and punched him in the face and he's never gotten over it.

... What? SOMETHING has to explain Antropovsky's obsession with trying to turn every discussion he's involved in into a "Why Marner is the worst player to ever play for the Leafs" argument...

Want that one back yes. I mean a clapper on the PP from Kucherov top corner short side off cross ice pass is not an easy stop. But at 2-1 with the game moving against you there you just gotta make the stop, and it should have been. It was a good goalie pull that worked.

Agreed. I like Sammy and I think he will get better. I also don’t think any of the goals tonight were completely terrible.
But at some point you just need a save

I've never liked Samsonov, he regularly give up softies and has poor rebound control. I am really not sure why he is being force fed into the net. Andersen got run out of town for less despite being a much better goalie overall.

Ride Woll for a bit. Let’s see what he’s got! We know what Samsonov is.
Yep, a complete sieve !!! Beach balls wold get by him left, right, and centre.

We need to find somewhere to trade Samsonov. Washington let him go for a reason, the very same reason we are seeing here IMHO.

I disagree. He is not a good goalie. His regular season last year was an aberration. He is closer to the .896 goalie he was with Washington in 21-22 and the playoffs last season. We are better off running with Woll. Sammy is just a very mediocre goalie, at best. He should never be, under any circumstances, a team's #1. Especially a team that has Stanley Cup aspirations.

That's a great win

The boys could of dropped there heads and given up but they kept on fighting and got the result they deserved

Outstanding effort by Woll, the kid looks confident and technically sound

Great to see our depth step up, By far Knies and Domi's best performances and they made our 3rd line a threat instead of just existing

Nylander and Tavares are playing bloody well, I didn't love that line last season but it's really good right now

Proud of the boys, they deserve a ton of kudos for that performance

I think you are over-reacting. A cup -calibre team is not handing the first string goalie spot to a rookie 5 games into the season.
