Is the D scoring at 0.5 goals per game (with Fox missing time) really a crack?
They only scored 31 in total last season and 29 the season before that.
Even in our cup finals year (31) and Presidents trophy season (38, but that's from 12 D) we weren't at 0.5gpg

@mas0764 Fox was like 1 or 2 in league scoring for D before he got hurt lol. Down year my ass. Guy who missed 4 weeks didn't look as "sharp" as he usually does, huge shocker. He was fine btw, it was his partner who was ass tonight.

Lindgren has been great on the PK. Thats one part of his game that has been on point this year. He was massive on those last 2 kills.

He's been bad 5v5. Cannot move a puck at all. The offense has never been a strength but holy shit its been next level bad this year. He's an EASY move for me after this year and one of the more clear upgradable spots on the roster.

I know there’s lots of kidding around about the “self high stick” and Angry Lalonde, but I feel like the Rangers got the benefit of every doubt by the refs and YES TORONTO tonite.

Coolie’s hit was board-erline and Kreider’s was a lil dumb. This could have just as well been a close loss.

Anyways, IMHO this team really misses the energy of one Fil Chytil.

You can pair a potato with Fox and he'll still come out ahead of the game. The smartest player I've seen put on the Rangers uniform. Period. He's like the best of Sergei Zubov and Brian Leetch put together. He'd be an all timer if he could skate like Leetch.

Sorry, I meant borderline in that it might have been called a major. He had Gostbiere(sp?) lined up from 5 strides away.

Overall, my comment was really about the 4 or 5 significant moments - not trying to add up all 60 minutes and put them on a balancing scale. Rangers track record this year has been to have nearly every big moment be a call against them.

Judging on their perf up to this point, a guy like Lindgren is needed in the play offs way more than a guy like Miller.
