Can you imagine Donnie boy picking Viggo Bjorck

With the 9th pick of the 2026 NHL draft the Ottawa Senators proudly select from the London Knights Maksim Sokolovskii

**** yes

What a return for Brady.

Thought we were going to get boned in a trade with Florida but Steve did very well.

This is an insane return when you consider he has a NMC, and gave them four teams.

I don't know if I got all the picks right, but this is pretty much like getting the 2nd overall pick.

Let's say Brady remains a top-tier power forward until he is 35, is this a good return? Not really. But you have to take into context that if this happened now, he probably is either not re-signing, or we cannot afford him.

The market is shifting. Brady is going to be expensive.

This was 100 percent the right move. Everybody knows it.

I told you guys. His wife and son didn't live here last year. They didn't like Ottawa. He had no desire to be here either. The writing was on the wall.

Better moving on. The guy had turned into a cancer behind the scenes.
Yeah I’m not shocked, it’s just upsetting that I need to watch this team f*** up more 1st rounders. Hopefully they trade them because it’s so f***ing predictable what Don Boyd and his gang of dunces are going to do.

That’s a shit return, I’d rather try and win next 2 years over this personally.

I have no idea how we didn’t get a young roster player back?

Now we gotta hope Don freaking Boyd doesn’t screw our draft, which seems possible.

FLA is gonna win multiple cups now all our doing.

I've had a difficult time feeling excitement for things due to some personal challenges over the past six months, so I always welcome the cornicopia of emotions that comes with these kinds of trades.

It's very refreshing, I haven't felt this about a hockey trade in a long time.
Sorry to hear things have been difficult. Hope the tide starts to shift.
